Ancient Metaler Returns to Polyphia for G.O.A.T. and is blown away.

I can't get over how good this b and is and how talented the musicians are. That coupled with the fact that they're from Plano, TX, which is literally a mile from me, makes me really want to like them.
And I do. Man, they are exceptional.

Definitely my favorite part of the band is that everyone is amazing. Yeah Tim is the figure head, but they truly dont have a weak link. This song was the first one that showed me just how talented the drummer and bassist are

I like your Playing God reaction and looked at you channel to be pleasantly surprised to this video. You should try Ego Death next it has Steve Vai and is my favorite song of theirs would love to see what you think.
Also the reason their music sounds so different is largely due to how they make the music. Tim has talked about how he and Scott make the guitar parts electronically without thinking about how playable the sound they're making is just how good it sounds. They then send the track to the rhythm players who add their parts, and then they teach themselves how to pay what they made on the computer on their instruments. Their way of making music is a driving force behind the difficulty and the unique sound.
