Forza Horizon 2 has a lot to offer when it comes to V8 Powered Cars! They all sound insane and diverse, nearly every car received its own characteristic sound, except the ones with the EXACT same engine. In the newer Games, the Engines with the same displacement and cylinder count often received the same sound file, even tho they sound completely different in real life. This led to a copy-paste style in the newer Forza Horizon Games, saving the devs time & money. I can not tell if those decisions were made by the devs or the Heads of the Studios above them (Microsoft ect.) Nonetheless, Forza Horizon 2 is for me THE BEST Horizon, it was the first one I played and still enjoy until this day, even when the servers are down! I used to race a lot online while it worked, but now I can just enjoy the Map, the Weather, the Cars, and especially the sounds :) PS: FH5's Sounds got way better compared to FH4, but still, there is a lot of room to be filled up until it hits perfection (Backfires, Turbo Sounds, Supercharger Sounds ect.) There are even better sounding cars in FH4 compared to FH5, but this depends on the interpretation and the taste of the listener!

Ah, Fh2. When the superchargers actually made themselves known. They really lost the greatness of the car sounds throughout the years.
Forza 2 and 4 are my favourite games. Forza 5 is same like 4 but better graphics,atmosphere etc. Forza Horizon 4 has the best music osts imo.
