So happy you included that last bit with Coulson, May, and Skye at the wall. For me, I think that was the most pivotal point of the series. Not the most dramatic or ohh-ahh, but certainly the most sublimely poignant.
I've always liked Sky's optimism but this episode made me completely fallen in love with her. And she's become one of my most favorite characters on TV since then. Also, this show has a lot of then-newcomers that became well-known since. Ruth Negga who plays Reina is now an Academy-nominated actress!
hi, you didn't recognize Ian Quinn when they showed hi in a plane. He was in episode 3 and wanted to get Gravitonium, remember? He kidnapped professor Hall
As you are now well aware, this was pretty much the last "calm before the storm" episode. And even this one was hinting at the insanity that was to come. You're right, we still have more to learn about Skye's family and origins, and it is quite a story. :)
Skye is too pure. She is so good. she had a terrible life, she could be selfish or bitter but instead she is so caring and compassionate. She deserves the world.
Agents of Shield has got to be one of the best shows on tv right now. Season 1 starts rather slow compared to the following seasons but it just keeps getting better. Cant wait for you to reach season 4; my personal favourite. The story as well as the character development (especially of two certain character) is really interesting to watch. More people need to watch it lol, way too underrated
FunFact: Skye is supossed to be 24 in this episode but Chloe Bennet was only 21 years old. In fact, she lied to the casting director/producers that she was 27 years old when she first audionated but *she just turned 20 years old* lol ... and they didnt find out until 2 months after they started filming when she turned 21 LMAO,
Not sure if you were aware, but Donnie Gill is an Iron Man villain from the comics named the Blizzard. There's a couple neat little references like that peppered throughout the series. Things that won't ever appear in the movies, but it's nice to know they still exist in the MCU.

Before you start season 2, I hope you watch the deleted scenes from season 1 (not to react, just watch). There are some deleted scenes from this episode that are really good and provide more background on FitzSimmons and how their friendship started.
I love this show. This show and Critical Role are the only two things I look forward to watching each week. All the other shows, I'm fine with bingeing.

A favorite of mine. Just loved to see the whole Academy thing. More about Skye's past, especially the emotional parts, and of course Fitzy.

I love how all of our hearts just melt and ache whenever Skye cries. Skye crying tugs on my heart strings so damn much.
