Had a FOUR LEVELS laminectomy five days ago. I walked without walker or anything that same day. Today I’m already at 3500 steps, very little pain even if I’m taking only 1/3 of the painkiller dose they gave me. To say I’m elated would be an understatement...
That's b******* I had my surgery after surgery I woke up 10-15 minutes later this ship me home I started walking on my own I did it on my own my doctor was the best but the place where they did surgery was trash
@@crystalmichelle1432 I guess I am over exaggerating I'm just mad at that time because when I got sent home I got sent home without pain medication it took them one whole day to figure things out but for the meanwhile I got up on my own and started walking now I am 2 weeks with my laminectomy and I walk around no problem I even go out to eat sometimes I forget I had surgery
That last 20 seconds cracked me up. I'm having the same operation in 2 weeks and I think I will get soon emotional if my awful leg pain goes away!
Thank you for this video. I am about to get this procedure next week. I’m scared. But I needed hope. This gave it to me.

Oh no I am so sorry. I have now had surgery twice and both places got me up to walk.
