  • Hi guys, I'm back! I wanted to kick this season off with a review of my amazon ski gear. I have personally used everything in this video on mountain, some even for dozens of days. I am a big believer in making skiing more accessible, and a big barrier to entry is the cost of ski gear. I hope this video gives you some idea about what you could buy on amazon to bring that cost down, especially when you are just first starting out.

I love my arctix ski pants. They’re extremely warm and you honestly can’t beat the price, like you said.

This was the exact review I've been searching for! I'm going skiing for the first time and I didn't want to break the bank, but so many people were talking about how you should buy these $300 coats as a beginner. So glad there are some cheaper options! Thank you so much for your depth and detail!

I’ve been using the OM MIPS helmet this season… the diamond. It’s been really good.

I find having swappable lenses is super helpful for fog issues. Instead of trying to defog them on the mountain and not "hurt" the coating I just swap to my other lens and keep going while my foggy lens gets clear in my bag (hopefully). Cool gear review!

That is a great point! I hadn't considered that. If it gets really bad, which it rarely does anymore, I usually go dry it off in the bathroom under a hand dryer.

beginner looking for gear here... feel very vindicated after watching this video! I splurged on a $170 spherical mips helmet this weekend, but didn't splurge on the $140 bibs. gonna check out the bibs now, thanks! hitting loveland on 4/20 for one last day!
