Small tip on gold efficiency: If you want to max out your starting weapon then statistically it is better to roll for a specific weapon at level 15 than level 5. If you dont want to max out your starting weapon then its better to roll at level 5.
why is that the Case? Where ist the difference between rolling @5/15
@@satiic The word "statistically" is important. You have a slightly higher probability of rolling a weapon you want at level 15 because the weapon pool has already decreased by 1(at level 5). Plus if you want to upgrade your first weapon then you have 18 levels to put in that and the second weapon you didn't want that you took at level 5 can always be upgrade to 6 if you just get bad rng. Hence the gold efficiency of not rolling at lvl5

I think they just assumed everyone knows what "sawn off" means. It means sawn off shotgun, sawing the barrel off a shotgun was how people years ago would make it more portable to carry around and conceal. It was made illegal to do it, and getting caught with a functional sawn off that isn't a display item with the firing mechanism removed can get you in hot water. It caused them to shoot in a huge spread and shorter range. It was absolutely devastating to anything it hit.
Mostly true. When the NFA was going through Congress they were originally going to ban all handguns. Their thinking was that rifles were the weapon of choice for the people to fight their government (original purpose of US 2nd amendment) and hand guns were tools of criminality because of their concealability.
Someone on the committee asked, "Whats stopping me from cutting the stock and barrel off the shotgun or rifle?" So they banned doing that to close the loophole. Then someone pointed out banning handguns wouldn't fly politically or Constitutionally. They removed the handgun ban, but left the restriction on shortening long guns that was made to cover a legal loophole. Which has left the US government and ATF defending the position that concealed weapons are OK as long as you make them inaccurate...
But sawn off/shortened shotgun or rifle is not more powerful or dangerous, just something you can carry or conceal more easily.
It was in fact less devastating than not sawed off versions. It was made illegal cause only criminals would carry such thing (otherwise why would you want to hide it?)
@@Skladak_Killer_98 it was significantly more deadly at close range, they would basically completely blow out your entire chest. It was made illegal because of both reasons.
@@Vazik05 no, it wasnt more deadly, shorter barrel literally makes it less powerfull. It was only more dangerous against crowds, as it had bigger spread. It was made illegal only because it was purely criminal weapon (cause of dyscrecy and efficiency against crowds)
Get ready for a wall of text. It's not illegal to saw off a barrel, it's illegal to not have the proper paperwork, rifles it's anything under 16 inches and shotguns it's 18 inches. So taking a 24 inch shotgun barrel and cutting it down to 18 inches is fine... 17.9 inches illegal without filing a Form 1 with the ATF to create a SBR or SBS (Short Barrel Rifle/Short Barrel Shotgun), paying for a tax stamp, submitting fingerprints, a passport style ID photo, and waiting for approval from the ATF. Now their are things like the pistol brace or pin and welding a muzzle device so it's the correct length because of how the law is written that side step this and are legal. The law is that a rifle or shotgun is designed to be shot from the "shoulder" with a single depress of the trigger. That shoulder line makes it clear to use pistol braces because they are not designed to be shot from the shoulder or shotguns without stocks from factory can be very short. It's a mess designed specifically for people to screw up to arrest people and collect tax money. Like you can order rifle barrels under 16 inches all day and have them sent to your front door, it's when you mate it with the lower(the actual firearm with the serial number) or a 3d printed lower with a stock, is it then illegal

i did a run as a sharpshooter, starting weapon and the plasma carbine both sawn off was absolutelty wrecking
yeah that is the meta build for sharpshooter. it is weird because they nerfed m1000 but whole reason why m1000 was good... was because saw overclock is strongest overclock in the game. so it is like they took mediocre weapon and nerfed but didn't touch whole reason why it was good in the first place. Any weapon that has saw overclock is basically broken. you will almost never lose single run once you acquire it.

I don’t think the weapon is actually that great. You just had some game breaking damage upgrades on it. Even before you started stacking luck.
Could it be that the plasma have 20 shots but shooting 4 bursts with 5 shots?so the fire rate should influence how fast the bursts getting fired?
