Some people focus a lot on sexuality because of their religion. For example, the Christian bible is basically against LBGTQ+. Some people will see it as going against nature because the the human body was designed for a boy to be with a girl ( if you know what I mean lol ),boys to only be boys, and girls to only be girls. I 100% relate on your comment and i want you to know that if you already feel confortable not coming out to your family, you don't have to do it. So far i've came out to my closest friend and two other people only, one of them being a homophobic but i don't really care. I briefly talked about this kind of stuff with my parents, indirectly, defending the lgbt valors without having them to think i'm gay, you don't have to worry about that.
For most asian families, the concept of 'family' is really meaningful and important and although i hate it a lot, it can kind of comfort me that if i had to come out, my parents would never kick me out even if they don't acknowledge it lol
