they sound so much better with single exhaust. i did maxxecu with n53 head swap and it sounds even more like a jz without direct injection.

maxxecu with plug and play harness for e92 is like 2k out the door. took 20 mins to install . one of the nest mods ever@@Dominatty

i mean it took a min to take the head off and plug the injector holes, but once thats done, the maxxecu plugs into the factory dme port, the base map will get you running and it literally took me less than 30 mins to fire it up once it was all plugged in. there are enough n54s on maxx now that its pretty straight forward

Hey, Amazing car you have!! Im from the UK, i want a 335i and want it to basically sound like this so i have a budget supra haha. What mods van i do as a minimum to make it sound like a 2jz? ❤
To get the sound in the video, you NEED a single turbo. twins sound way more quiet and smooth, where single sounds more raspy.
A single turbo setup will NOT be a cheap buy! But it's worth it if you have the funds for it!
Also, you'll need an exhaust system. High flow cats or catless, and a less restrictive muffler/resonators will sound GOOD even on twins, so I recommend you do that mod first!

@@DylanSmiderle i mean n54 has less potencial than 2jz and its more emergency but has less turbo lag has more power in stock and in my opinion your can be diffrent sounds better, i know that 2jz is amazing but only when you tune it up but i respect your opinion.
@@RANDOMLYSTUFFED maybe but this is my preference i mean when you tune your 2jz he has huge turbo lag and i dont like it, in a 100 -200- 300kph 2jz is a rocket but but Im impresed more when car has amazing time 0-100 and thats why think that n54 is better because it is more consistent and pulls better from the bottom.
