Nice work. An excellent choice of paint, wheels and exterior mods. Coolest Monte I've seen in a while indeed. Slap a 700 hp powerplant, built trans, and a high quality black leather interior in it with all the latest and greatest electronics, and it would be dream car status for me. (it's awful damn close as is)

when I was in high school in the 90s everyone had a Cutlass, Grand Prix, Regal, or Monte Carlo, a few but not to many had a SS, to this day a 80s Monte Carlo SS is my dream car, they aren't all that expensive still but I got a family and to many bills to waste money on something that's more or less a toy, but I keep dreaming of someday before I kick the bucket owning one
Hats off to ya for the beautiful resto work. But what I don”t get is all that money, time, creativity, and effort you put in to it and you left the automatic slush box in it.
I just got one question do you guys just put a different motor in that car and if you did when you got rid of those Electronics carburetor electronic distributor did you get a new wiring harness made up for the engine or just cut the wires out because I'm trying to do the same thing
Just wondering how much did it cost for yoy to restore this car? I have one laying around and it is horribly rusted and everything needs to be replaced… wondering how much I’d have to save up to get it all done
Now this is how it should be done. Just got through dealing with an absolute A$$ Hole who F'd over my '84 Grand Prix w/T-Tops. I want to say it was my fault. Didn't do my due diligence. Saw some of the cars he did, told him what I wanted, agreed on a price, gave a deposit and then the hell began. 8 months later, I ended up just saying "how much for me to leave this shop". Friends wanted me to do the WRONG THING to him. Over a car, I think not. To old to go to jail. Prayed about it and will let my FATHER IN Heaven HANDLE IT.
