    How long does the Medtronic battery last before being
    It must be replaced?

    • @MedtronicDiabetesUS
      @MedtronicDiabetesUS  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We find that battery usage may vary depending on the brand and type of battery used. We recommend the use of lithium batteries in the MiniMed 770G system and found that with nominal pump usage the battery can be expected to last at least 7 days.

    How often does the new transmitter/sensor need to be calibrated during the first 24 hours?

    Where do you get skin tak wipes? Why no videos on changing/recharging the device or how to recharge the recharger or replace it's battery?

    I need to find out what I am doing wrong. My sensor is not working for the seven days that it should.

    • @truthreigns3267
      @truthreigns3267 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately this can happen. If it does call Minimed for a replacement sensor. They are supposed to last 7 days.

      Ask Your Doctor or insurance to get You FreeLibre 14 days. Your still can measure your glucose levels with this sensor and insert to the machine. Thats what i do. I havent even tried yet the sensor cuz i read bad reviews

      yeah the sensors are so ass. its just the quality of medtronic unfortunatley. i really wanna switch to dexcom.

    • @jamesbyrd1896
      @jamesbyrd1896 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Agree the sensors could be much better and last longer than 7 days. Not sure if this is a money issue as in they make more money by selling more supplies if it only last 7 days vice 14 or a month. I say if it is the money issue raise the price a little and make the sensor last a lot longer. :-)

    Will my 770g pump tell me when to change the g 3 sensor.

    • @MedtronicDiabetesUS
      @MedtronicDiabetesUS  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can set a personal reminder on your pump for your sensor changes.

    • @jforeman210
      @jforeman210 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you download the minimed mobile app, it tells you at the top how long til you need to calibrate, and how many days/hours left on your sensor, before you need to replace. I've only had mine a week so far (1st sensor change is today), but I've found the app to be extremely useful
