You could offer a kit with the Sur Ron battery and motor and your sine wave controller to convert a small street legal motorcycle, such as a KLR 250. I'd be in for that.

Basic Sur Rons go for 4500-5000 usd. depending on fork. then add controller for 800 and battery for 2500 and labor to sync controller to batter and motor. You sure you going to say 3500 Sur ron?

If there is a way to successfully get registered as a moped I'm 199% in for the sur Ron supermoto
In some states, you can register it as a moped if you know how to restrict the power to
Mark Sebzda ya since it's in CA I was trying to get traction on how it was and whats required, debating between this and a from or rukus but I for dn sure prefer a Sur Ron
in my country anything under 150cc u can register with no troubles just need manufacture certificate and recipient
and this count as some what of 110cc according to luna

I wish they allowed it to be registered as a motorcycle since its speed is more than 30mph. Then if a powerful derailleur is added to the rear wheel it can fly upward of 100mph.
in any case, it'd require...insurance, number plates etc. Somebody probably needs to talk to them.

Please tell me! I have an 12 Santa Cruz superlight and I put in the new BBS02 rated to a Panasonic Gh 52v 14.4 soft pack. I'm getting the Hicks and bumps in my saint derailleur And I have code brakes. I have 52t blekkie. I set it to 16 inch wheel. I have the hack cable. Do I need to hack bc if I go as advertised. I'm bumskers. But. I keep up with cars like nothing. I don't care if I try it but LunaCycle ad has me misleaded

I understand the gearing of a 52t is too big for less than half of my gears. I bought a gear sensor, but it's of no use yet bc I can't use half my gears. I've ridden Moto and MTB my life, so no worries there. I'm thinking 42t blekkie but I have a new BBS02 rated at 1500. An answer to this post will do you wonders

the problem is that the bosch drive would be very unreliable with a real throttle..its the pedal assist that makes delicate kits like that reliable.

Wow a super souped up bike can beat a stock zero that has a Warranty. So if all you’re doing is one block drag races you should get the bike. Oh wait it is not legal on the road. It is a great concept but testing one aspect of performance is just silly. How are the brakes and suspension compared to the Zero. What about range? Drop half the batteries on the zero and see how the drag race goes.
all good points. THere is no way we could beat a zero in an all around competition it is a way better and bigger bike. We are just trying to beat it at a very short drag race which the little sur ron has a chance. After we have the Sur-ron tuned to the way we want the next step is off road track.

It is awesome to see what you are doing in an industry that is not supported by huge manufactures that have the financial backing to make all the necessary components. I like the bike, but it's not big enough for a normal size man it's very small. i'm gonna buy an ALTA or KTM FREE RIDE. If you guys make some bigger bikes in the future then I will consider buying one but they're tiny.
Come on Luna Cycle& Luke y'all bump the kv up and just a tap more amp's for acceleration and loose half the mAh of that pack just for a light to light burner and MX killer so the viewers can really see how us Underground E Race's been getting Down 😉

we really believe in a trail bike like this the smaller and the lighter the better... even a big rider can comfortably ride this tiny bike and its awesome.
@@LunaCyclesLLC They could really make a larger version of it! A couple inch bigger frame, higher seat and handlebar position would add like 5-6 lbs IMO.

Would have made no difference really, you also need to realize it's 3k vs 12k.... Also one is fully a street bike and one is more of an e bike
