It speaks to the brilliance of the Tana team that they didn't just build a replica of their Tana app for mobile, which has failed so many apps. Instead they've sat down and thought about what the mobile interface can and should do.
Sorry, but if I'm using an app as a PKM - I need access to that data while I'm away from my computer. Having to deal with Notion's clunkiness on Mobile is less of a failure than simply having zero access to my personal knowledgebase.
@@geoken2 I think this is more difficult to do than most people first assume. That's why even big companies like Notion get it wrong despite all the money can throw at the problem. I think Tana will eventually have a mobile app, but there's so much to fix on the desktop before jumping into a full on mobile app. I think for what it is this is a great app. A large part of the mobile experience when it comes to PKM tools is just capturing the data, that's the gap this fixes.
Thanks for the intro! I use several hashtags to sort entries into different lists, and each entry may have 3 or 4 hashtags. When I entered info in the Tana iOS app, the hashtags show up in the Tana desktop app, but the hashtags do not work - the text entry does not show up in the search fields designated by the hashtags. Is this how it is supposed to work, or did I do something incorrectly? Any ideas would be appreciated!
Very good! I downloaded the app. I tested it with some notes. But I don’t see Inbox item in my workspace. Also, in the History section of the app, I don’t see notes created by sharing from other apps. Maybe I need to wait 😊. Thanks!
@@Maciiiek I see only Schema, Library, Settings and Options. But with CTRL+K I can ask to open the Inbox Node, so it works. Only the direct link doesn't work. Maybe it will appear soon 🙂

Thank you for adding subtitles to the video. It is very helpful for people like me who are not good at English.
The location of the Inbox in Tana web changed, it is now on top of your left sidebar ;-)
thanks you saved my life , i thought mine is not syncing :O
What about android app???
The Inbox is in the sidebar, outside of any workspace, it is *not* shown on the workspace submenu like the video shows
Very excited to be able to capture content! I know it’s early days and I’m hoping that we get a full-featured mobile app soon!
I can't understand why there isn't an access to the todos...
i super love this
I don’t have the Inbox on desktop app yet.

I think they're just rolling out the update. Keep looking for the rocket icon to turn yellow :-)
Inbox is located next to the workspace title and settings node

@@lucadjit it is on top left , above (drag node here to pin it)
@@hussam9433 ok! I was searching for the item in the Workspace menu like in the video :-). Thanks!

@@harrynieboer9917 sorry i was not precise. I wanted to ask if i can Not read infos from my tana Account in the App.
@@danielenning733 That's right. The app is one way traffic only. It is not THE mobile Tana app ;-(
