I was on the line waiting to get in to the theater and bragged I had seen Douglas in Pimpernel three times. My listener laughed and said, "I've seen it 13 times!" Douglas was and is the finest male entertainer in Broadway history.
LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT!! I didn't know anything about the show until I got the CD as a gift. Once I played it, I couldn't stop. I feel in love with the show and the voices instantly. Especially Douglas Sill's voice. I never get tired of listening to that voice. *sigh =)* I only wish I could have seen his performance in person.
Douglas Sills is absolutely fantastic, and never fails to put a huge smile on my face! Is there a video of the full musical of The Scarlet Pimpernel available anywhere? I'd just love to see the full show with Douglas Sills!
