Thanks LLC for sharing your spooktacular shadow houses! Lots of creative techniques!! I especially love the use of the gilded copper flakes to give the extra sparkle and dimension for the houses-super clever. 🤩🤩 Been watching a bunch of Tim H. Videos today and your make was the cherry 🍒 on top of the cake!! Appreciate all your fabulous talent, time and effort in producing this video. Have a bootiful holiday season !!

ahh thank you so much Joan, I really appreciate your lovely comment and for watching my video. so glad you enjoyed, it was fun to make. Although as i say somewhere, either on the video or my blogpost for the video, this was inspired by a project by one of Tims design team. Saw what they did and wanted to make my own as had never done anything like that before. Didn't read how they made it as i find that restricts me to much to replicating rather than being inspired, that's just the lawyer in me I think, very by the rules if i read them and if i dont very creative with the rules lol! Anyway thank you again, hugs, Amanda

Oh Amanda! I love this shadow box and what a great layout you have. I have used the pixie lights on some things which are a bit smaller. Those ghosts are really spooky looking. Thank you so much for sharing your Halloween with us. Big Hugs

As I have with all comments i must first apologise for the delay in my reply and I hope you saw my notification that explained our internet had died! We hope it is now ok and so i am desperately catching up on comments. Anyway to answer your question it was a plain white (well as white as vellum gets) vellum which i inked, splashed and generally lightly messed up. check out from around 2.49 mins in the video and you will see what i did, hope that helps and dont forget to check out the blog post for more up close photos and exact colours used etc Link is in the para below the video :-)
