I’m only a hobby journaler but still have loads of stuff. I like to keep my pieces in their packets, then store them in my lovely wooden letter holders. I have three side by side on my oak dresser in the lounge/ dining area as I don’t have a craft room. Rather than just storage it looks atheisticly pleasing too.
I am a micro organizer. All flowers go together, but then I organize them by size. Small, medium, large. Blank labels go together. Small labels with something on it goes in its own container. And so on with all categories. Medium and large go in different containers. I use those 4x4 photo boxes to put my small and medium ephemera in. My large goes in cardboard trays that canned cat food comes in. It doesn’t look nice but it stacks well and it is easy to dig through. Any card shaped ephemera gets treated like project life cards and they are organized by categories with the project life cards, on trays. I just have to have like things together. It doesn’t matter on brand. I will have to get those new ephemera packs. 😁
I have mine in a plastic binder and also have a drawer with them bigger things like sprays, collage paper, larger chip board, etc. Then I have a book where I stick down the really bigs ones on pages with repositional tape. Wish I could add a picture for you!
My cat isnt allowed in my craft room, but she doesnt listen. Plus, I'm a clutz, so all my orgnaizers have to have covers that i can close at the end of the day 😂

I don’t seem to use my stuff unless it’s out and I can see it. I recently bought clear acrylic drawers from Dollar Tree & I like them!

For those bigger elements at the back, try a plastic sleeve or ziplock bag taped to the top of the box, maybe??

What about sticking one of those clear sticky pockets on the inside lid to put the bigger pieces in?

Maybee you Could put the bigger pieces in a clear sleeve and just lay it on top and close the cover.

I’d love to see you use the larger ephemera pieces. I love that set too but seem to be overwhelmed with using them
