Hi Veronica! Just want to say your vlog is cute! Also to answer your question about mid century drawings, no they did not do digital drawings back than.The “ traditional” techniques we know today, we’re modern techniques back than. They didn’t have to Technology, like we do now, to do anything digital….I hope that answers your question

Awww, your puppy is adorable. Doodles are super smart, that's why they're a little more work. I prefer Chihuahuas, because they don't have any goals outside of hanging out with their person 24/7. I love your art style, nice to meet you!

don't know if anyone already told you and I haven't even finished the video yet but I wanted to tell you what the german book is about: they are individual children rhymes. I don't know any proper english expression for it, but it's like the pat-a-cake one, just short cute rhymes ☺️
Yeah, I wanted to say something similar, since I’m also from Germany. Some of the rhymes are also little songs for children, the one with the boy and the slag for example. I don‘t really know how to translate the title, but “Liebe“ in that case means something like “nice“, “Kinder“ means “children“ in English and a “Weise“ is an old word for “song“ that we don‘t use in daily life anymore, so I don‘t even know if there is a difference between a regular song and a Weise. All in all you should be able to translate the title with “Nice Nursery Rhymes“.

Heya! Greetings from Germany :D At first I was a bit confused by the title of that book and I still can't quite figure out what it means. Directly translated it means "lovely childrens ways" (?) but I guess that the word "weisen" is an old term for "song" or "poem", then the title would make more sense given that there are lyrics of different children songs inside.
That also explains your confusion about the random pictures, they don't really tell a coherent story it is more a display of different poems with a picture relating to the topic if you know what I mean.
For example the poem underneath the picture with that Toadstool is a song called "Ein Männlein steht im Walde" you can look that up on TH-cam and listen to it :D
Each page covers a different song, it was kinda funny seeing them because I immediatly sang the songs in my head and had a little throwback to my childhood XD.
Also, the page with the two kids holding the lanterns on a stick (I think it's the last one) shows a song that is usually sung on Saint Martin's Day (11th November each year) during a parade through the city after sunset. The kids would craft their own lantern in elementary school before that day. They will also go from door to door with their lanterns and collect sweets, it's kinda the german Halloween if you will even though we have that here too :D
I hope that helps, also since I am writing this comment I want to congratulate you to your first vlog! I really like watching studio vlogs and I've been following you on Instagram for quite some time so this is really nice!
The quality is also very good the only thing that I would suggest (very kindly of course) is to balance the volume a of the background music a bit more especially when you are talking, it was a bit difficult to understand you in the beginning, but yeah this is nitpicking :D
