Hog is actually a recurring character from Clear Sky, and was associated with Leshy, therefore kinda one of the "good mercenaries" (as opposed to those hostile ones that are up to some shady business all the time). Leshy is also a (now bandit-affiliated) mercenary who will die by Skif's hand in HoC.
You can go to like 70% of the world content at any time, I found a crazy combat/ecological suit combo in Yantar, I found a Saiga in a cave filled with bloodsuckers and toxic gas and bought my rhino from the duty base outside of the cooling towers
@@KnightRaven The Rhino is incredibly strong, and it's hilarious how easily you can get it by just walking a few steps away from the Slag Heap (very early location in the game) and into the Cement Factory - provided you got some money to spend. The same vendor has a chance to sell the bolt-action sniper + ammunition, too...
Not notice what? You can get the guns early on if you know are a veteran who doesn't follow the main story and go out of your way to find the guns. The game is open world. NOT LINEAR.
@@luiscuadras1963 That's right, you play the main story to progress the story and sometimes maybe if the main story gives you awesome rewards. It's literally not that hard to find a python after you leave Zalisiya. There is a downed helicopter that has a guaranteed python in the Malachite region. Also Prypiat can be accessed from a few small jumps west of Yaniv Station. Remember when you become good, help out the rookie stalkers just like yourself.
As a veteran of the first 3 games i'll tell you i got access to these guns wayyyyyyy before even getting to the Azimuth-Station for the story. But i also went up to Yaniw quite early in game. Im not sure anymore but i think i bought mine off a vendor
depends on how you play the game. If you follow the story, yes, then you'ld get these guns later on. If you decide to go free roaming and only do story missions once in a while but more side quests and just run around the zone to explore, you can get good equipment much earlier. I've always played S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games that way, story has always been a by-product to me. I've just left SIRCAA and i'm running an Exosuit, AS Val / AS Lavina and a Saiga, all upgraded and with extended mags, and have many more high graded equipment in my stash.
@@NaDa4swf I have found i have completely broken the A-Life .02 due to exploring and not following the missions. I'll find mission related PDA's that vanish from inventory as soon as I pick them up. Likely breaking the mission they were meant for. Also have taken a few side quest from a trader to hunt mutants... and after finishing... there's a new addition in the PDA to that mission that has become completed (picking up a package), that doesn't allow me to complete the mission.... there was no package even though it says I have picked it up.

To be fair, there is a bit of logic to it.... but there are also healing items in the game
@ yeah true if healing items were less effective this guy would easily have taken us out
Skif, to ANOTHER bandit setup: "Oh, so you tired of standing? I'll put you down then."
Showing up with a Saiga is hilarious at this stage.
For my second playthrough I wanted to explore more of the content before SIRCAA
This scene crashed on me like 15 times

Hog's PDA reads that he died due to taking his job too seriously, oh poor Hog, didn't want him to die, he should've just contacted Dubny again...
Dang I didn’t even know there guns like these in the game 😮

Every veteran Stalker knows to play the main story you don't play the main story so you can get cash, guns and armor for the main story.

Ok, but it's a whole different experience when using authentic language. I'm a Finn and hellurei vaan kaikille. Nauttikaa pelistä ja Venäjä wittuun.
But this isn't Russia, it's Ukrainian a totally different dialect.
