    It's called blend, borrow, and combine. Kenpo is an evolving life force, in my opinion.

    Great instructor great breakdown of the techniques and the art of being like water so to speak. I love the ground techniques also

    "They don't know or they don't want to tell you. There should always be a reason." Love that blunt observation.
    Excellent breakdown and details. I especially like the car parts analogy when it comes to talking about American Kenpo's alphabet of motion.

    Parting wings is an aggressive not a passive attack, as is every tech in American Kenpo, and should be viewed and practiced as such. Applying a tech like parting wings to counter a passive push will potentially get you in a lot of legal trouble. These self defense techs, or more importantly the ideas, concepts and principles behind them, should be applied to optimum on the street or not at all, no different than deploying a weapon. Salute.
