Thank you for your service. War is hell. Anyone who's been close to the fire knows life can be cut short. Otherwise we had our day just like everybody else. The war is ancient history. Bound to be repeated.
While hitching around the Olympic Peninsula in 1980 I met several Nam vets living out in the woods. I engaged in several conversations and found most to be normal if just a little lost. I hope they found their way home. BTW thank you for your service.
Interesting insight from SEAL Redding: It was more disconcerting at night on forward operations bases than on night patrols possibly within close quarters with VC due to fact that fear of being mortared in cot made a restful night very difficult.
Thank you for the service! I'm interested to hear more about the Norwegians patrol boat's used I nam, I'm a Norwegian! Where there any Norwegian in this war!?
They have a blown up photograph of a long haired Vietnam Vet enclosed in the glass revolving door at the Baltimore VA hospital. Always fries my ass to see that image.
Sir, thank you for your service, and your communication with the public that cannot begin to understand your experiances.

There’s a documentary about them on TH-cam. I think it’s called Soldiers in Hiding.
THANK YOU for you service Sir. I love these interviews, I just wish the interviewer would wear a mic if they are going to ask alot of questions.
Great interview. Lt Redding was one of my roommates at Nha Be base in Vietnam
