This is one of the best interviews I’ve seen on this topic. I’m not a vet but also not a hugger and don’t say I love you. Just asked my daughter if I’m empathetic and she said no. Seems that I have some work to do. Robin Bartlett was clearly a great leader and I hope he realises that his recounting of his experiences is still having an impact on people. I watch these stories the soldiers and as a Canadian in the same age group, I applaud each warfighter for their sacrifices. Many of us in Canada only heard it through filtered news and political rhetoric. Those of you who made it back and we're scared by the experience or who died you have my utmost respect and welcome home
