I am absolutely proud of Wyatt, I remember when that locomotive was pieces of metal laying on a workbench. The fact that the engine was done in 2 weeks for the triennial was pure madness and devotion.
We made it a priority to film his run to Hope Circle not knowing exactly when he would be ready. It all came together and we shot what I consider the highlight of the Triennial.
AWESOME Video !!! Outstanding !! As I grew up on a RR in a close knit Church Community on a farm in Belmont, GA on the Gainesville Midland Line. I can't wait till I can afford to build my Church Community a RR for the kids. Google, Gainesville Midland RR or Robert Soule. My Uncles were Engineers, Conductors and MOW workers for many years. I used to get to ride in the cabs and cabooses as a kid thru my teens. I loved every minute of it !! I'm 72 now and still Love Trains !! HooAH ?
This would have to be video of the year .... don't matter what's it's about just how it's made so you can feel what's about....an this hit it out of the park 👍👍👍
What a beautifully awesome train video❤. My love for trains specially steam started as young as five and I'm now 71 and still have a strong love for model trains. I enjoy my small collection of Canadian Pacific engines and cars in mainly steam. Sending endless Blessings & future success in this awesome train community. 🍁🤝🇺🇸👍👍👍❤️💯%
How can you not smile when watching this footage its great watching people enjoy something they love doing also seeing the resilience of rebuilding after the flood and fire damage was heart warming 💜 ain't life GRAND !
My brother and I have done five Triannuals. 2000,2003,2006,2009,2012. Each time it has gotten larger than before. Unfortunately my brother has passed. But I want to do it again for 2025. Who knows maybe we will meet you there. The only thing that you did not say was that Train Mountain was started by Quentin Breen. Steven Sipes
the before and after fire shots are absolutely amazing!!! So glad this place was saved and its amazing to see how lush and vibrant the forrest grows back. Mother nature taketh away but mother nature gives back. Im gonna have to make a trip up here this is so awsome!!
Beckers dairy farm Roseland New Jersey had a 7,000 feet miniature rail road ride. May thru October ( 1940 thru 1972 ) vaguely remember that from 60+ Years ago. Excellent photography job enabling viewers to better understand what the orator & guest speakers were describing. Viewing this presentation from the comfort zone of my computer room. Along the "" Space Coast " of Florida🐊🐊. Wishing viewers/ train ride crews. A safe/healthy/prosperous ( 2024 ) 🌈🎉😉.
I have seen many videos about the railroad. BUT, nothing compares to this video I just watched. Absolutely perfect!!! I truly hope I get a chance to visit one day. Again, awesome movie!❤❤❤
Ok... I'm a train guy (or I wouldn't be watching this video) but... I'm also a still, video, and drone guy. I saw several shots with drones chasing the trains and heard the “right sounds” of the train...not the buzz of the drone. Good job. It took me into the moment. I think ya'll are a bunch of nuts..and the world need more of you. People who know what makes them happy and chase after it like crazy.
this is my world of seeing the railroad to scale // livesteamer USA // in Brazil i'm the only one LIVESTEAMER i had to build everything // locomotives / tracks // stations // thanks for your y7outube channel //
The singing break man Jimmy Rogers a genuine break man before his singing & entertainer.career began. ( 1926. thru 1933 ) I'm certain would have been thrilled to ride one of those miniature rail road trains-!!!😉
It looks like kids stuff, but the level of professionalism throughout is very impressive. Especially because even the maintenance work is all done on miniature scale.
i have a replica spike from May 10th 1869 Promontory Summit, Utah got to see the JUPITER. two trains run to re placate the meeting of the two territory’s no train ride sorry. but worth watching. built by slave labor of the Chinese. you can ride the original route by car or truck on the original train bed. shame though they don’t have a ride to experience but the park could do a model train 🚂 take rides on but do a steam train of the Jupiter just to attract more patrons. gift shop is well worth a visit.
Hear me out..... This video has me so inspired to imagine the first bullet train at this scale sleek white and tilting around the bend the engineer reclined back and close to the ground like the convertible of the rails. His console is a BMS showing the batteries along the floor of each car as brushless motors on each bogie with high torque planet gears make the entire unit move with that satisfying slow hum
Right there with ya. After watching The Weasel make it to the top of Hope Circle, I had the thought "I bet no one's done a BART model at this scale yet..."
Walt Disney one of his starts and loves was trains 🚂 he rhode neighborhood kids around his yard. I enjoy seeing restored steam trains. even the model ones. more property development needs to have steam and model trains. not stuck in museum being dust collectors or queens. I. have been on and around a few Steam train in Durango, Colorado. that’s a must the cliff views are photo genic. she’s known as the Silverton. all day trip. another one in the black hills of South Dakota another ride that’s fun i wish they’d add a lot more track she’s an 1880’s train. Arkansas had one that was abandoned don’t know where she’s at today. needs to be restored give rides to.
Excellent visual composition. Thoroughly enjoyable to watch, really enjoyed it, thank you. By way of constructive criticism, I felt that a lot of the commentary and tone of narration had been dumbed down for the benefit of non-railway folk, which is fine if that's what your after and, in some places, the musical choice became more 'noticeable' than the trains. However, none of this really detracts from the remarkable tenacity and creativity of those who have constructed this remarkable line. Thank you for posting!
Those are green blocks to set by the track if you have a derailment. It lets other trains know there was a problem there. It also tells the maintenance crew where the track needs tweaking.
I love the videos. My in-laws live in the Portland area. I should make an excuse to take my dad and do a road trip. He used to work/volunteer at Steam Town when it was in Bellows Falls back in the day. He would get a kick out of this. I would love to see one of the hobbyists do a scale version of the F units from the movie Silver Streak…one mint and one with “crash damage”. 😆
Small trains to ride on like this almost like an amusement park ride but riding on a small train like this and great to see this and a very exciting train ride, Thank You. 🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🇺🇲💨
I grew up near Chicago and my Grandfather used to take me to an amusement park called Kiddyland. They featured real steam rides using live steam. Locomotives and they took you once around the park. They had a train yard where they would park several steam locomotives all fired up and ready to go. I don’t think there is a Kiddland any more, I wonder where the locomotives went.
7:45 And you'll have way more erosion / mud slides if you don't replant the trees you cut down on the north side. 9:57 Why did they cut down all these trees? They survive the fire. 1:23:10 Will they at lest plant new trees there?

Hi 7idea Productions Folks! Thanks for a great family-friendly video. You may want to have a second look at some short footages to excise, though: there's footage of a DRG & W snowplow and footage of a Southern Pacific specialty car emblazoned with the inverted pentagram (upside down 5 point star) and skulls. Please be advised that these symbols are of the Occult, the Satanic-Demonic. Practitioners thereof leaving this life enter into, well, let's just say a realm unpleasant beyond one's worst nightmare.
Like a Phoenix, the park is rising from the ashes. Keep the green light shining TM!🫡
Aaron, you've done a lot of great train videos. I think this is your best one. Thanks for posting. Steve R.
Wow! Thank you very much! Lots of work (spelled fun) went into it.😄

It looks like fun and just the coolest thing I seen I'm a very long time

I'd wanna try that pedal train at 4:45.
No kidding! I wish I had thought of that a long time ago!
Rilly nice work Mike you did a great job on building your car's 👍

omg this is the wedding train
best ever, you Yanks are so lucky in Australia ours are all tiny setups. Simply the best ever.
all it takes is land space, and lots of money.
I hope you guys have a fire suppression system since you guys said you went through a fire.
36:09 Inspection station. What is that greybox the girl in the green has or look like she is handing out???? GPS Tracker???

HAHAHHAHA A Bar Car? laughs. That's a cute idea.
So Neato💯❤️🔥🍀🧡
All great content on RFD and TH-cam..
Are there also rack sections for cog railways? That would be cool!
Drone views arexcellent! Thank you. Cause of the fire? Wish that I could have helped. I be good at digging!
Amazing how drones can motion photograph from any angle. Producing ex exceptional quality results-!
Pretty sure it was a lightning strike.
❤❤❤❤❤
It's a 7 1/4 inch rail track, what is the size of the concrete ties.
It is a 7 1/2 inch gauge.
Me gusta LOS trenes
is there anyway to get info on some locos like UP9656? Im interested in this type of power with electric motors, cheers
You should consider building it from scratch, yourself.
@paullubliner6221 still need some drive motors so looking for information on the bogies? Don't want to do hydraulic.

This is oregon?
Yes
What scale are these trains
1/8th of full size or 1 1/2" per foot, track gauge is 7 1/2" The UP dash 9 is my train with my daughter as the engineer.
Where can you buy a Train?
No credit for the narrator?
I think the guy who narrated it is the guy that made the video.
Hi 7idea Productions Folks! Thanks for a great family-friendly video. You're an idiot if you think it's satanic.
You’re not very clever
Sure didn't need the noise in the sound track. The only "music" we want to hear are the people and machines.
So disheartening to see the fire damage
Fires have been happening for millions of years.
They look like little toy trains
Nix the music. Rather hear the locomotives and trains than your added musicovering the sounds.
My computer carries both
Nice footage, but a lot of anoying music.
boy howdy it sucks to be poor lmao
The pine cones you guys are taking our squirrels and Chipmunks food ain't they maybe you can dump them away from the tracks for them to eat later
There are 2,200 acres of pine cones on that property. What gets munched around the track isn't a drop in the bucket compared to what is there.
I always laugh when I see big adults riding on a locomotive that is smaller than they are. Looks really silly.
