One of the better reviews on the Tucson..you have not minced words about the drawbacks or omissions on the Tucson, for expectations are higher when it costs so much. This excellent car deserves more sales than it has at present and if Hyundai tweaks up on the omissions and slightly lowers the price it can definitely give the Jeep a run for the money.
I m actually really Njoying dis car as it was Ma 2018 purchase a top spec GLS variant & I thnk I m more dan satisfied and happy rather dan having complains on any.,. But sumtyms Evn I wish da same it cud hav being ultimate package with Panoramic sunroof & heated/cooled seats as it global variant does hav it.,.
Nicely put ! Now that Tucson is being offered with Panoramic Sunroof, I just made the booking yesterday. This review is all the more special because wine red is the colour I've chosen too :)

+Satyanarayana Rao At its price, Hyundai Ticson would be a better pick. It comes across as a logical choice for anyone upgrading from a C-segment sedan or a compact SUV. The Tucson on the whole is a well-rounded package that gets the basics right. It is comfortable, adequately punchy and frugal as well. That said, a few more features and a snazzier cabin would have been welcome. If you are looking for an SUV that is comfortable for the daily office drive as well as a mile muncher on the weekends, the Tucson should be on your checklist!
I have the top model 4wd with panaromic but with it’s price point for a base model it should have atleast rear air vents and dual zone climate if so it would have been a best seller for a 5 seater

I dont think I want to change gears when I have so many features to pamper me. Why bother with manual variants at all. This is not a tarmac scorcher or a rock climber in any case.
+Venkatesh Nandagopal Both the cars have their own forte. The new Skoda Octavia looks all set to emulate the success and popularity of its predecessor. A rare blend of comfort, luxury and driving dynamics, the Skoda Octavia is a force to reckon with and enjoys an almost cult-like following in India. Whereas, the Tucson relies heavily on its mean exterior design, leather-covered interior, powerful diesel engine and on-road manners to attract customers. It is also backed by the company's larger service network. Click on the link to compare both the cars: bit.ly/2KNbLG3 Please drop your requirements with us here so that we can help you to pick one.
Currently i drive 1st gen swift vdi, clocked 2L KM, looking for change since mid of last year. I drive 70% High Ways and 30% city driving, i drive daily 50KM per day. i prefer safety + drive quality, since i drive more at high ways, i am looking for sturdy drive and performance. and also better millage. how one can go wrong with Octavia MT? i read Skoda services are improving, is it ? and why one should not choose Tucson diesel manual? its hard for me to decide between Octavia Diesel MT and Tucson Diesel MT. :-(

CarDekho Sure I would be happy to do so.
the ground clearance of 172mm is less than a few sub 8 lac cars... rest everything seems to be good
Great video thank you!!!

This car is so great. Only if it also came in manual in higher trims too, it would have been above compass in my list.
Amazing review. I love this guy’s review.

The price is very high compared to in gulf countries.
Good
The one problem. Which I like to tell is that the plastic used is not much premium it is hard

I am happy with creta sx plus diesel with the price and features
Tucson or Octavia?
Venkatesh Nandagopal
Go 4 Octavia
krishna chaitanya skoda India not selling black Octavia's at lower varients. They're pushing L &K varients

tony stark thanks for your inputs. RS and fortuner too far from my reach
Tucson ground clearance is less..u should mention abt this
Feedback noted! Ground Clearance (Unladen) stands at 195mm. :)
Arun Shenoy 195 mm is not good for such a big suv..now a days small sub compact suv has above 200 mm ground clearance
Arun Shenoy ..i prefer higher ground clearance in suv
@@abhinandensingh6231try a horse
@@hashack7243 I will try u
But still ronaldo is better than messi
It is that Ronaldo is better by and large as Messi does not deliver at crucial moments.
Better Jeep Compass petrol automatic .. 👍😁👍
Tiguan has more features.
More pricey, less powerful. More expensive to maintain as well (being VW).
