Great instructional and inspiring video. I had taken to thinking that my riding was poor because I constantly talk to myself about position and rhythm, and always have. Along with exercising my own two horses I also started exercising a friends half Arab. She is well schooled and a sweet ride , but boy oh boy has she helped me to have a better seat, feel and rhythm. Thanks for always explaining so clearly.

This was so extremely helpful for me, thank you so much. I’m a beginner and was struggling with the trot in my last session, got to the point I was losing my footing in the stirrup. Looking forward to trying out these techniques!

'' just wait on me, follow my feel'; must be so comforting for the horse

Dam you Craig Cameron!!! On my recent trail ride, I attempted to practice everything you showed us in this video. Unfortunately, in every instance, my mind flipped back to a "monkey riding on a sheep dog". There went my concentration for the rest of that set. The most hilarious thing in the world. Thanks again for great vidoes.

Now do all that without a bit in the mouth and still have control of your house and then you will be a real horseman, if you need to ride a mouth bit you are compensating for good horsemanship. The bit was invented at a time were there was no such thing as horsemanship. Horseman at that time was the ability to flood a horse out and stay in the seat and ride the horse out. the mouth bit was created because the pain would help them control and ride the horse out. Today the bit is not even needed. We never use a mouth bit. Good horsemen like Rick Gores and others understand the bit is a tool to be used when the ride has bad horsemen ship. Don't get me wrong, I know Craig is a good horseman, a great one, but he still needs that crutch of the bit. Not sure why. I have never seen Craig do something on a horse with a pit that we can not do without a bit. never not once!
