Thanks for watching!
What a lovely review. I really enjoyed your guys' format for this.
Im really interested in this game. The video recormmends 4 players for best experience and pace. The box / Amazon says thr game is 30-60 mins. Is that accurate to say 4 players is still in that time frame?
Im afraid not, it can be accurate if one player gets an effective engine going and outpaces the others, but if its a compeitive match or a slow burning one it can last up to 90 to 120 minutes.
Another factor is player familiarity and the sheer combo's present. It can take time for players to formulate a plan.
In a lot of cases you might have a new player who'll be slower to make moves depending on what is happening.
The time doesn't drag, but a "quick" game is rarer than a long one.
Very nice! I've had a blast with the base game at a friend's house, I've been putting off getting together to play the expansion but this might've tipped the scales :) thanks!
Thanks for the review fellas. Got this in the mail and cant wait to give it a bash!
Oh great! Enjoy the game and thanks for watching!
How fun is the solo mode? Is it worth it?
We haven't played it im afraid, but from reports its slow enough as you are dealing with two hands and characters. Given the versatility of the game in its mechanics it can become a very "thinky" game for solo as you meld vastly different abilities together for two characters
