    Thank you very much. I turned 60 on April 30, 2015. I always wanted one and bought myself a used sharpshooter 2,pinpointer, headphones, tools, bag, belts and large bag to carry it all in. All for $100. Looks brand new. But your explanation just helped me tremendously. Only went out twice now and haven't found a coin yet, but I will with your explanations. God Bless

    Thanks for the vid. I also have a bounty hunter sharpshooter II for over 5 yrs now and never really knew how to use the disc/notch. I appreciate the time you took to explain it, now I understand as well. Had a minelab eureka but it was tough to keep adjusted and used my BH for backup, always ended up using it (BH) because it was light weight too.. It is really a great little unit for the price and will detect small stuff down to around 5/6 inches which is nice. I mainly use mine for nugget hunting and have found a few nice ones, 28,34, 39 and a 56 grain nuggets. Thanks again for the vid.

    When you notch the zinc penny and it eliminates the nail will it also eliminate the pull tabs? Thank you so much for your video! I learned so much, and I can’t wait to go out again!

    You may have figured it out but the horse shoe shaped object is a heel plate from a Civil War era shoe.

    I am trying to improve the accuracy of my detecting. Does the machine actually beep right when the object enters the outer ring, enters the inner ring, leaves the outer ring, or when it leaves the inner ring?

      Do a air test with a coin or ring. Will help in finding The Sweet Spot.

  • @jonesjones94
    @jonesjones94 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    i have this same one. im unable to get it to differentiate between anything. laid out gold rings,nails,pennies,quarters,brass. was not able to get any type of different signal than a beep. anyone know what to do?

    • @frederickwilliams2183
      @frederickwilliams2183 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      gold is all over the place in its range. i detected screwcaps that beeped gold. i think this machine gives low beep for iron or relics. higher beep all else.
