Omg those science ladies. Crushing
The girl with grey hair seems to be really intelligent.
Cloud Girl she really does..
In anime grey hair girls are wise and clever ...
Her body didn't waste energy on hair pigmentation, instead sending that energy straight to her brain. ;)
It's not just knowing the words in a newspeak sense, but actually knowing what they mean as part of her AI curriculum.
The two smart cute techie girls are my favourite
yeah I loved the girl on the right who said that python is a cute programming language in the other video (i think it was about what's kawaii and what's not)
Yes Same
"It has two U in a row. So when I write it, it makes me happy" that might be one of the cutest thing I ever heard
'scarecrow' is a pretty cool sounding word now that i think about it but still random lol
carcarchu Kakashi
I don’t say I like the word, but use it often: “perhaps”.
I find it useful at moments when I need to be diplomatic 😀
Perhaps
I might perhaps agree with you.
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious
DrgnSpawn nice
Even though the sound of it, is something quite atrocious...
If you say it loud enough, you'll always sound precocious...
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
"Very well you said it"
When the Japanese girl says exaggerate better than the German host! the battle is on! I heard a few Japanese people say they had favourite English words, i thought that was really interesting. I don't think i have ever really had a favourite word in a language before. maybe erleuchtet in German. i used it for a password once.
That's actually funny... I was watching this video with almost idential thoughts: 1st thing i thought was how rare it is to hear a random Japanese person on the streets pronouncing an English word better than someone who hosts a youtube channel entirely in English. and 2nd: How I never thought of a favourite word, but if I had to pick one first thing that came to mind was "enlightened" :D which is "erleuchtet" in German.
almsot eerie xD
I like “espiraculo” in Spanish because I don’t know what the hell it means even though I’m a native Spanish speaker.
Yes i noticed that right away.. But then i realized she is a German so English is not her first language either.. So there would be a number of English words she would not have 100% correct. Words that she would never use in normal daily conversations..
For those interested in the longest german word. Here it is:
"Donaudampfschiffahrtselektrizitätenhauptbetriebswerkbauunterbeamtengesellschaft"
In english it would translate to:
"Association for subordinate officials of the head office management of the Danube steamboat electrical services."
Kakkoii
私には一番好きな言葉は「preposterous」という言葉です。イギリスのドラマにはたまに出てくる言葉けど、英語の授業で全然出てこない。初めてその言葉を聞いた時本当に驚きました。響きはすっごく力強いと思った。
My favourite English word is "smirk" because it doesn't exist in my native language and I really like the meaning of it
Your native language being?
I'm surprised more people haven't said that their favorite English word is the "F-Bomb"
Wait until our two tech girls, um, I mean women, that's what I meant, find out they can write cute programs in BrainF***,
Oh my
I think Aboard In Japan has you covered on Fucks, my dude 😂 👇
th-cam.com/video/T9-OWfS2Vy4/w-d-xo.html
oh? you mean fudge?
it’s funny because you asked him if he ever uses scarecrow irl and genuinely i’m american and i never use that word unless it’s in like a horror/halloween film lmao
guess you're not a fan of batman :\
ohhhh shes geeerrrmaaannn.... THATS why she didn't pronounce exaggerate correctly lol. was totally gunna call you out but fair play, 3 languages is impressive.
I would love to see Foreigners' favourite japanese word too~
Well my favourite japanese words are "desu" and "kawaii"
"desu" isn't a word though xD
Mine is shizukana
Usotsuki
I was going to say 'shizuka' too!
1:14 the girl on the right is like "what should I say? What should I say? ??"
Flabbergasted is the favourite word for myself - it's just so cheery sounding.
This was so interesting! I would love to see a part two of this!
Space Princess same
I LOVE the Japanese word for atmosphere 「雰囲気」 ‘fu-inki’
I like the sound of the word "mushroom", it sounds so nice :D
Defenestration is my favorite English word - it's an entire word to describe the act of throwing someone out the window! Why don't we have more fun words like this in English?😅😂
THIS GIRL SAID VACUUM
the german lady couldn't even say it right, but that girl was just like *VACUUM*
My favorite German word is doppelgänger! So much fun to say!
My favorite English word is awkward. I think just because I'm awkward. Anddd I'm from a little country from Europe. (Hungary) And I have a word for you. I think this is the most longest word in Hungarian language. Just try to say that. 😉:
Megszentségteleníthetetlenségeskedéseitekért
💕
I'm just amazed by Cathy Cat super good English! I can't even pick a German accent
I remember learning Geschwindigkeitsbeschränkung in German class when I was eleven - mind blown. So, when I started learning Japanese, I was pleased to get to 制限速度 - it brought back all those natsukashii feelings!
German and Japanese work similar in that regard. true. I was actually shocked that antideestablishmentarianism is one of the longest English words. In German there is technically no limit to how long you can make a word really. with Japanese its the same. Question is: Is it practical?
Cacophony because it has a lovely sound!
Science girl power!! They were the best! My favorite word is "petrichor" - a pleasant smell that frequently accompanies the first rain after a long period of warm, dry weather. I wonder if there is such a term in Japanese?
i love how you said “exaggerate” @1:43 lmao 😂💛
I didn't know (or at least didn't remember) that 'Kakashi' means scarecrow. That's so cool! I really like scarecrows for some reason, and Kakashi Hatake is one of my favorite Naruto characters.
My favourite English word is 'flibbertigibbet', which is a frivolous, flighty, or excessively talkative person.
I like how everyone bows in respect to each other...
The programmer girl = She is the definition of Singularity 😍😍
My favourite word is.... OBNOXIOUS
Mine is penultimate. It means next to last.
Counter Tenor oh I just say next to last
I've heard other people say Squeegee.
My favourite word to write in cursive is 'beautiful' because it's all loops and flows really nicely.
I googled 'longest German word' and got this: Rindfleischetikettierungsueberwachungsaufgabenuebertragungsgesetz 0_0
The longest word in any of the major English language dictionaries is pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis
fun fact.
also it's wonderful considering what the word means :)
(it's a disease caused by inhaling the toxic fumes of a volcanoe)
My favorite word is "bibliophile" because I love reading and love collecting books. I don't use that word very often to identify myself; that fact surprised me. I should be more outspoken about my favorite pastime. It's hard for me to reach beyond my introvert tendencies, but becoming aware is the first step and I will try to do it more often. 💞😄📚
Favourite English word is either defenestration (the act of throwing someone or something out of a window) or illuminate. Favourite Japanese word is either ゴロゴロ or ウサギ.
haha gorogro is a good one :D
mines is "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" XD
I'm fond of "tank," as the official word for the team defense role in MMO games like World of Warcraft. It conveys the necessary attitude of, "no, attack ME, break yourselves on my defenses, so that my buddies will be safe."
The German language is a bonanza of fun words, but my favorite is "ausgezeichnet."
My fav word is "later" coz i always say "leave it,i do that later"
There's so many! But first comes to mind for example "Anomaly" or "threshold".
Mine is language.
好きな日本語の言葉は「空」です。
As a native English speaker, my favorite word would have to be "vortex" just because it sounds so cool to me (and as a bonus, I'll bring up "maelstrom" because it has a slightly similar feel to me and it's a synonym.) I barely know any Japanese vocabulary, but if I were to choose a word from the words that I do know, I would have to go with "hikari" because it gives off a good ring in my opinion and it's the English word for "light" if I'm not mistaken 😁
Heaven. Not religious, but it sounds so fluffy and soothing.
antidisestablishmentarianism 😂
Malina Nowicki that is a longgggggg word
Wow! I love this word...
"Fuck" is my favorite word in the English language. It is by far the most versatile word and can be used in almost any fucking sentence. You can even have an entire fucking conversation by just using the word Fuck, as illustrated by The Wire.
Onomatopoeia (pronounced: on-o-ma-to-peer) is my favourite, simple because of the obnoxious amount of vowels at the end! Meaning: words that describe sound e.g "bang" "crash" "boom" are a form of onomatopoeia
onomatope in japanese (romanized obv.). it's quite a big part of their everyday language. japanese have long list of onomatopoeia and they're quite different from english ones
Türkish: Yildirim (translated to Blitz/Lightning) German: anything related to "Spekulatius,Spekulant, spekulieren, spektakulös usw." Russian: Druschba (translates to Friedship) and Nupagodi (a russian Cartoon Series) Japanese: きぶんが わるい, kibun ga warui - to feel sick/ill. i really like the sound of it. obiously kawaii/kawaiidesu ne, p.s. iam German and currently learning japanese.
I like the Japanese word of the scarecrow. Kakashi, like from Naruto and Kakashi- sensei is really kakoii~~
i like the word "Appreciate it" sounds nice!
One of my favorite words wince I was in fifth grade is Pnuemonoultramicroscopicillicovolcanoconiosis
I had to memorize it for a spelling bee and here I am still with it stuck in my head!! If you’re wondering it’s a disease that you get when you inhale volcanic dust into your lungs. I always thought it was such an odd word. Have a great day cat!! Xoxo
I have never thought about it lol but probably my favorite word is "struggle" I like the sound and the way how is written
I always thought Cathy cat was an Aussie, silly me😅😅
My favourite Japanese words are Teme, Kisama, konoyarou, etc
the white hair girl seems really smart
Quetzalcoatl
La conocí hace poco y me gustó demasiado, por como suena y por lo que significa la palabra en cuestión es "uplifting"
the chemical name for titin. it's the longest in the english dictionary and is 189819 letters long which takes 2-3 hours to pronounce when doing it fluently
I like the word "Oblivion".
the brown top girl in 1.11 is thinking wot word she should mention to look cool lol
'Flabbergasted' or 'Aquatic' and maybe 'Niche'
My favorite words are actually Penitent and Hollow in that order so that's where I got my alias. Actually alias is also a really good word :P
The third girl in first clip thought wtf what word i know in English 😂😂
that girl love IT so much
The next time you interview the cute Python lady, tell her she's an online idol!
My favorite Japanese word will have to be Nitto, it sounds weird. English word would have to be Coconut, Don't know why.
Also I'm an American in a place FULL of farmers and we almost never say scarecrow. Only if you are in 'The Wizard of Oz' or something xD.
That's a interesting hair color the girl has around 4:30 minute mark not sure if i love it or hate it??? but it stands out
"Onomatopoeia" is one of my favourite English words. It's fun to say, it looks fun, and I like it's meaning.
The longest Swedish word is 131 letters long (and is a compound word, I made an explanation for it on another TH-camr's video that I can fetch if you're interested).
I wonder what my favourite Japanese word is, I'm usually only thinking about Kanji I like the looks of, or phrases (or lyrics). Let's go for 終わり which is part of my favourite piece of lyrics. :)
My German teacher would constantly write down that longest word in the German language just to show off but even now I can’t remember it either, it’s too damn long!!😂
Mine are curse words. I love to make cute girls say bad words in any other language. Is the cutest thing ever!!!
P.S: Singularity girl.....call me!!! (Do not tell Cathy, Director-san!!!)
japanese girl: "singularity"
me: FGO player?!
her: /explain difficult stuffs/
me: ah, sorry, my bad...
The girl who likes words with two u’s in a row would like the word “continuum”.
"The vacuum of space is a continuum". Wow, she will be over the moon with happiness.
Perspicacious
I don't why but I like the way it sounds
i like "supercalifragallisticexpialidocious" technically not a real word but its from one of my favorite Disney movies lol
and i have no idea if i spelled it right lol XD
My favorite English word: Nonsense.
English curse words! They can have exact opposite meanings depending on usage.
English speakers know if it's an insult or a compliment almost instantly. I think it's something unique
can't come up with an example though. Would you say one
My favorite English word, Defenestrate, it's a word that doesn't exist in Norwegian, soy ou translate it into a sentence pretty much.
I've made a list of top 3 words in each language I know, for English my fav is Pristine
" there should be more female engineers "
I relate to that ... That is why most of my friends are males. especially in my branch of engineering
I am 76 years old and antidisestablishmentarianism has been my favorite word since I was 10 or11.
I gotta admit, great choice of words 👏👏👏👏🇺🇸
My current favourite word is "Betray"
Safia 半髪 why? 😂
Chicken Curry , dunno... Just sounds nice I guess (although I'm already getting kinda sick of it). Before, it was "Humanity".
Haha you’re to fun! I think I’ll subscribe to your channel just because 😂
My Fav word is
PNEUMONOULTRAMICROSCOPICVOLCANICKONIOSIS.
😉 ITS longest Oxford word
I remember years ago driving west over the Chesapeake Bay bridge just after the sun went down. I told my girlfriend that we were heading into the *gloaming.* She insisted that I made up that word (sometimes I do invent words). She bet me a hundred dollars that it wasn't a real word. When we got home she looked it up in the dictionary. Of course she welched on the bet.
My fav English word is immaculate 🥰
my favorite is abstract maybe?
and for japanese 幸せ shiawase
The last two girls toooo cute
My favorite word is probably no. Where near appropriate 😂
chumbawamba
supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! from Mary Poppins
Wel I am currently learning japanese in my free time so sumimasen for not knowing much at the moment as I only started last month on the 21st. My favourite japanese word is definitely kawaii as it sounds just as cute at it is. =3
My favorite word to use is "majority"
It follows that the Python lady fancies singularity.
Uhh ich bin auch aus Deutschland ^-^ Mein Lieblingswort ist übrigens ''gorgeous'' einfach nur, weil ich den Klang mag xD
My favorite words is ovuvuevuevue enyetuenwuevue ugbemugbem osas
