I remember this game. It was freakin' brutal, not simply because of the bosses, but because it was so *long.* It just kept going and going.

What a long time for a reply. It is possible to not take damage. In the SNES version you need to be around the middle area to hit Carnage when he does the spinning attack.
I always used to play this at my friend's house when we lived in military base housing. My dad was in the air force for 22 years so we lived close and we would come to each other's houses to play Sega Genesis or N64 and Dreamcast.

Not sure if “Climb” counts as a boss level, since you avoid Shriek’s beams and can encounter Doppelganger.
There’s also a secret room in Manhattan Rooftop where after waiting a few minutes, you can face one of almost every enemy NPC at 1 health, including the Muzzoid and all supervillains.
RoboCop is not part of Marvel..
could have instakilled Dana & Lizzie by holding onto the wall , waiting for them to swap sides so they are on either side of you , jumped between them and used a web grapple for a double smash ~ works on the Umbrella dudes in later stage
I found a point right in the center of the sidewalk that you can time them as they enter the stage. Takes practice, but satisfying when pulled off.

@@jaysnow4074 Exactly... The Snes version is the one that is actually worse.. there are missing tunes in some of the tracks, and there is almost no bass in the background which is a kickass aspect of the Sega version's tracks.. and you're right, Carnage laugh is only in the Sega version..

The trick to carnage just keep punching don't stand in front of him get him to walk into your punches you gotta finesse it.
The art style of this game absolutely slaps, and the soundtrack could literally be trying to imitate some badass kind of glam rock or groove metal

I think this was the second hardest beat them up, just behind Final Fight. I remember this game came in a red cartridge instead of your regular gray.

Wait a minute, this is not the final carnage boss fight at the end of the video. Cause, the final boss fight was on some prison, or rooftop location, but i'm sure that it was prison.

the only difference i've noticed is that the fight is harder and carnage spams the web swing and dual arm blades a lot more.
It would be better if you done all final boss fights, to show full game, and not just some fights. But, whatever. You did what you you did and that's ok :)

Even as a kid I never understood why in most superhero games they had them fighting common street punks and it took MANY hits to beat them when in reality Superman or Spidey would maul at least 5 burly people with 1 single punch...

You missed a boss battle as this wasn't the final one. After you beat Carnage here he escapes and then you fight him again in front of the Ruined Boys Home. Once he's defeated there the game is officially over.
That's true, but it's basically the same fight as the first one, and he probably didn't want to show it twice in the same video due to repetition

Before this was around. Spider-Man and the X-men in Arcade's Revenge was around. Released in 1992 on SNES before it was released on Genesis/Mega-Drive in 1993. The Pal Version in 1993 on Mega-Drive before the Genesis version in 1994.
OK great game overall but they really weren't creative with the bosses. You have to fight all of them at once. That isn't creative it's just really annoying and makes you have to spend more time on the game than you need to.
The SNES music is better.

Не брат, боссов ты не всех показал. А как же куча толстяков, чуваков с зонтиками, а где миссии за Венома, и последняя битва с Карнажем та что на крыше здания. Схалтурил, но там без траты хп не пройти конечно...
WiSe Ruler я уже точно не вспомню, но что помню -- это у игры есть разные маршруты. Но я точно помню, что по какому маршруту не иди с Карнажом две битвы подряд. И вот вторую тут прошляпили, да.

Shadow, you missed a shit load of bosses in this game. The ones in Prospect park 1, prospect park 2, the downtown fight (this is even pictured in the thumbnail) and the end fight at the Ruined Boys Home. How dare you call this All Bosses
Plus the 2 rooftop bosses, one against Doppelganger / Shriek and another with Shriek and two random guys. And there were two Manhattan Street boss fights.

Hugh Tahoob the game is based directly from the storyline in the comics and as these were the bad guys they faced that’s it my only gripe was maybe spreading them out amongst the levels but otherwise a great game
