    So with your mirrors adjusted like that it doesn't hit the tank during a full left/right turn?
    Also, are you planning on painting the stock shields?

    • @simplybeingshipley
      @simplybeingshipley  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The mirrors are tricky. If you are 5 foot 9 or shorter you can invert them like I did but the key is to rotate the actual stems as far forward as possible and then angle the mirrors back that way they will not hit the tank. I will do a separate video on this, I haven’t seen anyone else explain how to do it. But if you’re over 5 foot 9, then the actual handlebars themselves will block your view of the mirror. Thanks for the comments and the follow! Oh yeah, the stock shields On the exhaust will be replaced with blacked out ones soon.

      @simplybeingshipley  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It really depends on how you plan to use it. The cost of modifying either one will be
      the same but the street bob is less expensive starting out. The geometry is very different on the bikes, and the fat tires on the fat bob make a huge difference. If you just riding to work or school and you just want something to enjoy on the open road either one would be fine. If you want one that you can weaken the beast and get crazy handling out of, the fat Bob is unbeatable in the Harley lineup. Having ridden both bikes, hands-down for me would be the fat Bob.
