This album is so underrated . Has everything that is rock and metal and punk. Haven't listened to it for many years but FUCK it kicks ass . Killer from start to finish ! Loved it from day 1 and it is so fucking timeless .
wtf are you talking about. it's only their second album which singlehandedly made them super popular overnight, and even more so, it's literally the first metal album to debut at number one on the American charts. It's rated the way it deserves. And if you mean the band isn't as popular as, let's say, Metallica, it's only because the band ceased to exist super fast

This Skid Row's lineup was pure GOLD. Just pay attention to that drumming!!! That fucking voice!! What a band they were.
They could have been together longer, but everybody was an asshole to him except the drummer.
I think it's so important that the lead singer learns how to write songs, so he/she won't have to depend on an asshole/bitch for songwriting.

@@boopah4365 oh man I was on top of the world as a young guy with that system. Regular cab manual shift truck with 10” sub boxes behind the seats, head unit, equalizer, and a 12 disc changer. There’s was absolutely no room, but it rocked so hard!
I had this and the first one on cassette back in the day and rebought them on CD years ago. I was lucky to see them in the early 90s..Pantera opened for them. Glad u got to see both in their OG lineup.

I worked for these guys on this tour in Dubuque Iowa. Pantera opened. Bought this album the next day....and Sebastian Bach's Dad painted the album cover if I'm not mistaken

I was 16 when this came out, and i still listen to it from beginning to end like it's brand new. A real master class in heavy and hard rock. It's like , you know, these five guys made something that will last forever, and will never be equalled.

This album is amazing!! Growing up I never had this one or remember anything from MTV but I was a teenager and I loved all kinds of music and girls kept me busy 😊 Luckily I gave this a listen because it's great!! Im trying to build my music library again as I have always loved physical media!! I lost so much in a flood 😪 I do appreciate music being free but I still want to have my favorites!!

Wow! Excellent. Omg Vocals!! Song arrangements, tone, production, mixing. In my humble opinion it’s probably one of the best albums to come out of that era. I know that’s a bold statement, but it’s certainly in the conversation
I'd watched them opening of a VAN HALEN show on October the 13th in 1995. This was HAGGAR'S birthday & a great show!!!

I was lucky to watch them tour with Bon Jovi at Wembley. I will never forget the sound of the guitar sounding as if the heavens had just opened up with thunder and his singing had the crackle of lightning. I definitely put his album influence on me at the time in the same bracket as Nirvana's Nevermind. Sadly they never would go onto the heights that this album deserved. Absolutely masterful album from start to finish.

I am in Nastalgiaville right now. Great album. The first Skid Row CD I got. Only new the radio/video few songs from the previous, until later ‘90s. This remained my fave-the heavier mess of this one sold me. Subhuman Race was decent, too. Oh yeah, and the EP with the Live Priest song, with special guest, the one and only…Mr. Rob Halford!

I wasn't put here to be treated like some disease you hope will go away if left alone. That's the coolest line in a song ever. The Threat is in my top 5 of all time. I've been there in front of a judge with a pen in my hand and couldn't sign my life away. I got twice as much time. That's what he's singing about. Once they sign that paper, they've made you a threat to society.

Skid row was one of those groups that had so much talent that was underappreciated for their time. Amazing riffs and vocals. Their first album was great too, just more mainstream.
