- This coin is a metal detecting find it was in a really Corroded shape. If you decide to clean a coin never used acids, never polish, never wipe or rub the coin. Coins in high grade with patina on them worth more without cleaning. So if you clean an MS+ coin it can ruin the valued. Only clean coins if you want to make your coin collection shinier, if they are in really low grade or if you not willing to resell them.

I still got mines encased , hopefully their worth something on 20-30 yrs from the rarity of finding one . Nice vid though 🌑✔️
Hi thanks! A lot of them worth money already. The price is depends on the year, mint mark and the grade of the coin. Wheat year and mint mark your coins are, I can look them up in the book?
There use to be this metal chemical cleaner called TarnX! It would automatically tarnish old coins and metal to brightness!
The thing is, that I found out that tarnishing old coins devalues the coin itself!
Better just keep it like you found it if you were a coin collector.
Would this none chemical corrode a steel War Cent?
Letter S, San Francisco Mint!
Hi thanks for your comment! This coin was in really bad shape I wasn't able to se the year on the mint mark that is why I decided to clean it before I'll put it in my collection. I don't think that this metod will work on a steel penny. Like and Subscribe for more video 🙂 Have a great day
