@@kse7en496 I think that's fine. Probably optimal this week. I've got Muniz for Solanke. He might have his price protected due to the red flag but who knows with FPL towers.
Congratulations getting to 1k Spear 👍 would you bring in Armstrong for a -4 for Solanke or start Konsa or Amad? going to Armstrong or Muniz would free up money to upgrade Amad and Barco in the future
Cheers! I thought this one was a little too simple, but it's difficult when FPL rules incentivize us to save an FT after GWK1. I really think the game would benefit from a 2FT system and create a more engaging game.
@@speardrops It's a bit more interesting now we can bank transfers. Especially over the first couple of weeks before the window closes and that awful international break in September.
@stephenfgreen international breaks are horrible. I think 2FT with the ability to save only to 3FT would be a lot better for the game. The banking change is a positive though, yes.
Great FPL content mate. I’ve a choice between starting/subbing Murphy (NEW) or Nkunku (CHE). Really can’t decide who to play and who to sub this round.
Love your content! This would be really helpful next week when I might have to transfer my quansah out and make a double transfer to upgrade him. Might go haaland->watkins, quansah->trent. Scary to get rid of haaland tho. I'd prefer not to have to transfer...
With Quansah now worth 4.4m with the price drop does that concern you going forward when it comes to transferring around players? (By the way I’m holding Quansah) Loving the content! Thank you!
Not at all, can't catch every price fall or rise. It just seems more significant because it's the first one and it's been telegraphed a lot. He might go in a double transfer if his minutes are actually bad going forward though.
Though I missed the videos a bit this week because of a vacation I went on, catching up now and they're great work. I have unfortunately chosen to wildcard for GW3. The Solanke and Quansah situations as well as my investment in Spurs and Newcastle whose fixtures have taken a turn now mean I have little choice, to be honest. I'm almost certainly going to take this chance to fit Salah in along with Haaland, especially due to the underwhelming fixtures of other midfield premiums in Son/Saka (and Palmer's terrible price, despite his performance today - which was also a heavy xG overperformance.) With that being said, what it comes down to for me is whether I want Wood + KDB + 4.5 DEF or Watkins + Jota + 4.0 DEF, and I'm looking for your opinion on that. The former probably offers more flexibility but the latter are better players? Let me know your thoughts, and keep it up!
@sixwar7912 welcome back! How was it? I think wildcarding is viable for you, but ensure you have 14/15 90 min players if you do so this early. The latter option for me. Watkins fixtures and quality plus Jota's fixtures and value outdo the others. Pedro instead of Wood is interesting if you can bench him this week.
@@speardrops it was great, thanks! Not the least bit upset that I didn’t catch the disaster that was United this weekend either. I should say that I actually did catch Solanke in time and went to Muniz instead with my FT. Still though, I want to transfer Quansah, Jacob Murphy, Porro and Mykolenko (Everton DEF looks a disaster) for sure, and am leaning in favour of Isak and Son coming out as well, though I’ll probably look to go back to the latter after they get Arsenal out of the way. If there’s anyone there you’d recommend holding I’m all ears though. I expect I would be able to bench Pedro as I’m targeting Rogers for sure given Villa’s fixtures and his value. Would you recommend Pedro over Muniz though?
@@sixwar7912 I watched the United game. Too open defensively and Brighton look strong. It's funny, Muniz still looks like the best cheap option this week despite two blanks. I think I'd take all of those you mentioned out on a WC. On a WC, with Rogers, I'd def go Pedro. Looks a great value rotation. Just hide behind a couch for the Fulham games. ESR another option as a cheap enabler since you'd be without Muniz likely (Pedro/Watkins/Haaland - I assume).
@@speardrops I want to delude myself into believing that it’ll be better when Yoro and Hojlund are back and the new transfers are fully fit…it may never get better. I’ll take your advice on Pedro. In that case, are you continuing to back Eze (if you were in my shoes of playing a WC, anyways)? If I want Salah, I’d have to either go double 4.0 DEF’s or downgrade Eze, as I’ve absolutely nailed ESR because I can’t go without a Fulham attacker. I could go with Nkunku to try and get a piece of that Chelsea attack, though minutes look unpredictable. I can also look at Bailey/Garnacho/Mitoma. I imagine you wouldn’t favour me taking on a second 4.0 just to keep Eze, but I know you liked him a ton preseason so I’m interested to hear thoughts. I’m leaning towards an Eze downgrade as he blanked his two easy fixtures and now it’ll get a bit tougher.
@sixwar7912 It doesn't seem like it. Seems messy at CM to me. There's a gap between the forwards and that position. Definitely would be shipping Nkunku. If I was on WC I'd be tempted by Mbuemo over Eze, even Bailey or ESR or Rogers. I'd go Palmer, Saka or KDB over Salah personally. I just don't like Salah's price. You could also go very cheap up top with Pedro and Muniz plus Haaland.

Spurs will want a cricket score after that GW1 stinker and playing a Tony Hibbert, Phil Jagielka covering backline of Everton, at home, is the fixture to do it. I'd be shocked if Spurs don't score at least 2.
