Great analysis Steve. I have finally taken the plunge and removed Haaland. Swapped him for jao pedro and rogers for salah. i'm expecting southampton to get battered by liverpool.
Thanks mate! Yeah I think Southampton could get dealt with, Liverpool are purring like a well oiled machine. I’m eyeing up those exact same transfers mate, although I’m not sure how likely Pedro is to start GW12 yet, but to grab him at 5.4m knowing he’ll probably be back as a starter very soon if not in GW12, so he'll probably be worth the risk.
I tend to agree with you mate, I don’t think hits are as bad as how they’re viewed. However I built that position on the old rules where you had to take a hit if you wanted to make a 3 transfer switch, but I don't think the 5 transfer rule change affects my position too much. Still, it's got to be for the right players in the right circumstances.
I wouldn't want to sell Rogers or Smith Rowe this week, as you mentioned. I think id be selling Foden for Salah, and then selling Smith Rowe in GW13, for potentially Saka. Would mean you can sell Haaland for basically any forward under about 7.5m (if i've done my maths correctly). Cunha, Wissa, Pedro would be the clear top 3 choices in that position for me.
Yeah I think I’m definitely holding ESR for Wolves, and who knows, maybe he sticks around for longer if he keeps scoring and I ride the odd benching. So it’s probably either Foden or Rogers who I end up moving on.
Pedro was my initial thought but the two things holding me back were that Pedro might not start in GW12 and he’s only barely back from injury, so I thought it might be prudent to delay it a week and get Welbeck in first. Having thought on it further, Pedro’s probably worth the risk, given his performance he could easily start and that he’s not been called up for Brazil so he’ll have the next 2 weeks in training.
dont want to make you feel even worse, but Haaland was actually on for 2 bonus, before he got the yellow card! lost 3 points, or 6 with captaincy because of that! ouch
Was a rotten gameweek despite playing Fabianski and getting returns from Ait Nouri, Garnacho and Wissa. Saka and Palmer once again failing to deliver any value and Halaand's goal counting for little versus Salah. He lost 2 bonus as well. Minileague lead wiped out!!!
Solanke Johnson blanking was unexpected also they missed chanches I am thinking Trent -> Konate and Garnacho -> Bruno still no Salah do u think Salah should be a priority ? I have 2 FT
Salah could do quite a bit of damage against Southampton, and he’s probably the best captain in GW12. Assuming Trent is out for 3+ gameweeks I think Trent -> Konate is a sound move. There aren’t too many standout defenders about, so sticking with the Liverpool defence is a solid bet. On Garnacho/Bruno, I’d be tempted to wait and see where they both end up playing before selling or buying. Yes there’s a chance Garnacho is left out, but I think he and Amad have been the most consistent attackers this season. Garnacho might be playing as one of the two wide forwards that end up sitting in behind the 9 which would be a powerful differential for the next 2 gameweeks. And there's a chance Bruno might have a slightly deeper role too, e.g. a potential lineup: Onana Evans, De Ligt, Martinez Dalot, Bruno, Ugarte, Mazraoui Amad, Hojlund/Zirkzee, Garnacho/Rashford

@@GKneeIssYT Thats understandable. @filipmalik4793 Nice choice of degree mate! 💪 I remember being back in Uni, playing around with small codebases and working on rather obscure and tedious assignments, especially in papers like operating systems and programming languages. 😉 Creating a novel programming language written in assembly language was the low-level bane of my degree. 😂 Sounds like you might be self taught given the full stack web app experience prior to the engineering degree?

Selling Salah a couple of weeks ago has backfired so hard. 😢
Oh mate, tell me about it. He’s been single handedly wrecking my OR week on week. ☠

Taking hits isn't as bad as people think. If you do them looking at the long run. They can pay off

Like the sound of your moves. Did you consider haaland down to Joao Pedro instead of Welbeck?

Oof, devastated. ☠ That's a 260K rank swing right there 🥶
Sorry about the ESR offside goal. Deserved really
Thin margins mate, so close to a monster differential haul!

Rotten indeed. For me it was straight after coming out of that Solanke move too. GW12 sure would be a great time for some positive variance!

Would you mind sharing your source code for the web app ?
A software development enthusiast I see, what languages do you write in? And sorry mate, I’m not in the habit of giving away my codebases.
