Learn everything you need to know about the Aircross 2 gimbal: a complete setup and review of the Moza Aircross 2. I begin this tutorial with an unboxing, then share the differences between the Aircross 2 and the Air 2, and I also provide a review of the Aircross 2 and discuss some of the pros and cons, as well as share tips and tricks. Finally, I show some real footage shot using a Sony A7iii and the Aircross 2.
Skip ahead to the section you need:
00:01 - Aircross Intro and Review
    00:27 - Moza Aircross 2 vs Air 2
    01:13 - Unboxing
    02:42 - Aircross 2 Setup
06:00 - How to balance the gimbal
10:55 - How to use the gimbal
11:20 - How to auto tune the Moza Aircross 2
12:29 - Different Modes: Pan Follow, Tilt Follow, Lock, FPV and Inception
    15:40 - Follow Focus
16:20 - Follow Focus Wheel Customization
    16:50 - Moza Aircross 2 Footage
    17:58 - Moza Aircross 2 Review
The Moza Aircross 2 gimbal is made by Gudsen and is designed for smaller mirrorless cameras, such as the Sony Alpha cameras. In this tutorial, I show how to properly balance the Aircross 2 using a heavy lens setup.
The Aircross 2 can support payloads up to 3.2kg or about 7 pounds.

WOW!!! The best precise video on TH-cam to get started. Way better than the manufactures very confusing videos. Very well explained. This is my first ever Gimbal for videography. I was pretty much clueless on the menu set up. This has taught me all the functions and operations that are available on the Moza Aircross 2. If you could do a video on general shooting technique for different occasions, that would be awesome.

This helped a lot, I noticed removing the quick release mount and mounting directly to the L bracket let me center it better which meant my balancing didn't need to be directly on the ends of some of the axis...which also meant that the power needed for tilt, roll and pan wasn't as high...where I was seeing 90+ on roll and pan the first time, now I'm seeing 74 and 54 respectively

So I rebalanced with your tutorial again and it works well, but I notice micro jitters. My way of fixing this is to gimbal > motor > power and switch to ultralight. I am not sure if the vibrating affects footage, but I rather it not be giving me vibration. Have you experienced this? I am using an a7iii and tamron 28-75.

Hey Evan! thanks so much for sharing. You went a bit way too fast for me there.. I just can't figure out HOW TO BALANCE THE ROLL THING? IT always comes in the way. Like what you are showing at 9:09. The Gimbal's base rod, the Last Pan axis is coming in the way, and roll axis can't just go about it. IS IT NORMAL? Don't we want our gimbal to be able to just go round n round and round?
A quick reply will be highly appreciated. I need to see if I need to return the gimbal ? :( :( :(

Hello. Could pls help me with my problem: recently a bought this gimbal, and using it with my Sony a6400 + 16-50mm lens ( that’s is the whole set up). And from the beginning, my gimbal started shaking, and even autotune didn’t solve that problem. So I should manually change motor parameters, including motor - power up to 10/15/20, and motor - filter up to 30/10/8 And such parameter’s works well, but if I manually tilt my camera down, or trying to shoot low angles, it starts shaking again. And I need to change the motor’s parameters that work for a specific purpose. Does it mean that I can’t use these motors parameter’s for whole shooting angles and situations, and every time need to change them, depend’s on the angle I want to shoot? Is there any universal solution, or maybe motor parameters that work well in all situations? The same thing happens when I want to use my Sony flip screen - gimbal start’s shaking, but as far as I understood it because of dis-balancing? And one more thing - every time I’m using inception mode ( with different motor’s parameters), and put the gimbal in a «flashlight position» while the gimbal rolling, I can feel kind of light pulls or pushes that comes from the motors, for a full 360-degree roll it’s like 2 pushes. So footage comes not super smooth and you can see these pushes on the video. If I hold my gimbal vertically with the camera looking up, there is no such problem. Is that a normal reaction of my gimbal in the inception mode, or it is because my camera is very light? Thank you
