thank you for explaining how to use this gimbal, i am using a Panasonic lumix G95 camera with a comica mic and I had to add a hotshoe to connect the mic sideways and attach the hotshoe on the camera, and then I'm able to balance and calibrate it properly.
I purchased this gimbal as my first one, found the instructions and tutorials hard to follow/understand until I came across yours, thank you, thank you and thank you.
Thanks so much for making this tutorial! I got my Aircross 2 today and was able to get it up and running in about fifteen minutes thanks to your video. I’m sure it would have taken hours otherwise! Exceptionally well presented and extremely helpful.
Just picked up the Aircross 2 and I have to say, if it wasn't for your video, I'd still be trying to balance it. Thank you SO MUCH for putting this together. You've earned another sub!
This helped a lot, I noticed removing the quick release mount and mounting directly to the L bracket let me center it better which meant my balancing didn't need to be directly on the ends of some of the axis...which also meant that the power needed for tilt, roll and pan wasn't as high...where I was seeing 90+ on roll and pan the first time, now I'm seeing 74 and 54 respectively
thank you so much!!! I was about to start the biggest crying session when I discovered your video and it helped me soooo much! I felt in love with this gimbal. it's my first one so it's nearly perfect to me :D
Do you have another tutorial on this with more advanced steps since you have been using this? I was so thankful for this tutorial given it was my first experience with a gimbal and I struggled figuring it out in my own. Debated about returning it even until I found your video. Super clear instructions!
Hello Great Job. I balanced my aircross 2 in less then 15 minutes. But I also can't start recording film with my Sony Alpga 7. I only realized to take photos but not to record. didn't you find any way to do it?
Hey Evan! thanks so much for sharing. You went a bit way too fast for me there.. I just can't figure out HOW TO BALANCE THE ROLL THING? IT always comes in the way. Like what you are showing at 9:09. The Gimbal's base rod, the Last Pan axis is coming in the way, and roll axis can't just go about it. IS IT NORMAL? Don't we want our gimbal to be able to just go round n round and round? A quick reply will be highly appreciated. I need to see if I need to return the gimbal ? :( :( :(
Okay so I’ve had this for months and could not figure out how to get it to work. I watched this video once and you helped me figure it all out. So THANK YOU. Turns out I was doing everything backwards 🤦🏻♀️😂
WOW!!! The best precise video on TH-cam to get started. Way better than the manufactures very confusing videos. Very well explained. This is my first ever Gimbal for videography. I was pretty much clueless on the menu set up. This has taught me all the functions and operations that are available on the Moza Aircross 2. If you could do a video on general shooting technique for different occasions, that would be awesome.
How do you go about setting up the camera and connecting it to the gimble? Is it as easy as just connecting a cord and something shows up on the camera and you follow the prompts? Or is there a particular setting you must put the camera to? Thanks!
Great video, for the owners of a Panasonic FZ-1000 and a Aircross 2 gimbal, you can use the Panasonic app with your smartphone and broadcast the image from the camara to your phone while you record and at the same time use the mimic control of the Aircross 2 and control the movements from the gimbal, it is awesome!
This video was great!!!! I loved this video, it helped me set up pretty quick! The first video I saw of someone else explaining it confused me. So I’m glad I’m able to subscribe to your channel
hi great video I followed all your instructions to balance the gimbal but when I switched the power on it just continuously shakes the camera? I try to go to the autotune but it won't allow me to do so. any suggestions
It took me a couple of months to decide if I wanted to go with the Weebill S or the Moza Aircross 2. Along with a few other videos as well as your tutorial video on this, I chose the latter. Even if it means I'll be losing out on some customization with the accessories to add on the Weebill S. You got yourself a sub good sir!
Didn't try to mount it on a monopod and make passes from a height. I wonder if it will withstand the horizontal load of the steadicam if you attach it to the monopod, make a run behind the actor and then lagging behind raise him up, like a crane)
I'm new to videography, is this beginner-friendly and good for a first gimbal? would you recommend using this gimbal with a canon eos 70d + canon 18-55mm lens?
Hi Evan! What should I do if Iwd like to shoot with this gimbal upside down (holding it in a way that the little tripod is facing up and the camera is on the lower part, to shoot a leg level tracking fhot for instance)? When i tried this the motors freaked out and died. What mode should i be in? Should I lock some of the parameters? Thank you!
I bought this gimbal and it works well just I hate when I go into certain angles with it and it will go into sleep mode I think it’s because I just used that lbracket but didn’t connect the other brackets to mount it.
Evan, thanks for the informative video. I have some questions. I manage to balance the aircorss2 but after that, the camera is supposed to stay wherever you position it. This does not happen in my case. The camera goes back to its horizontal position facing front. After balancing it, I don’t know what the next step is. To begin with, just tell me how to use the tilt and pan mode. In these modes, please tell me what to do if I want to keep the subject locked, and when I don’t want the subject to be locked. I know there is a lock and follow mode but I am not getting the hang of them. Another frustrating thing is that once I switch the gimbal on the display shows FE tilt, roll, pan. Then it starts quaking. What am I supposed to do, wait or take some action? Often before I can do something, it keeps going into sleep mode.
Hey I'm not really an expert about gimbals but I can reply to your last problem ("Often before I can do something, it keeps going into sleep mode.") since it happened to me too. You might laugh that it's so obvious, well your gimbal is going in sleep mode everytime you turn it on because you did not balance it properly. That's it mate
In the creative video settings - After going through all the steps to set up a motion path for a time lapse recording, is there any way to save the settings for recall later?
for some reason my aircross 2, when turning the wheel for both for the focus motor and if its assigned to say pan or tilt does it in a really jerky way, stuttering and doesnt go smoothly like when you rotate the wheel for tilt
finally i found the best tutorial for balancing the camera, write it on a notes great part hahaha, thanks bro... just finishing setup for sony a6000 using a multi/C cable and connect to the gimbal with USB Multi on the camera list... next... lets having fun with the features.... ahahaha
Hlo i have canon 5d mark 4 24-105 lens and im confused bw this gimbal and zhiyun crane 2 plz suggest me which one is right for me waiting 4 urs rply...!!
Hellow, very interesting video, i have a question ....in the screen , switch/ power /filter...switch goes to OFF without any action...what happen? best regards from Chile
So I rebalanced with your tutorial again and it works well, but I notice micro jitters. My way of fixing this is to gimbal > motor > power and switch to ultralight. I am not sure if the vibrating affects footage, but I rather it not be giving me vibration. Have you experienced this? I am using an a7iii and tamron 28-75.
hi, i have moza aircross 2 gimbal. I want to connect Sony A7R3 camera and 24-70 lens to it. As you say, when making autotone, the balance values are high, it seems like it forces the gimbal motors a little, how can I find a solution to this. Thanks.
So, I'm having some small balancing issues...it's like 99.5 % balanced...just a hair off...BUT- it keeps going into sleep mode even when I'm in the middle of using it. I cannot seem to find anything in the mune which lets me control this.
I use canon 200d/SL2 with a Tamron 17-50 f2.8, and BOYA wireless mic receiver. My setup weights 1,120 grams in total. do you think that gimbal will perform well??
Question, problem! Please help!! As I turn on the gimbal (after have finished the balancing of the camera), always after 3-4 sec the gimbal gets on Sleep mode and not working!! I searched on the web, many have this problem but no real solution anywhere! Do you know why this is happening and how to solve it? Thank you in advance!!
Thankyou for this very informative video. Using a zoom lens, would you balance the gimbal with the zoom extended or retracted, or about half way, Presumably this depends on your predictive usage before the shoot?
How can i record from the gimble.. i have connected the gimble with my a7c but i can't record from the gimble.. i have to press the record option from my cam.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think FPV stands for First Person View. I don't know what PFV is. Even, I'm not even sure there is such a PFV as you mentioned above.
Very helpful thank you! Not sure if you can help but Im struggling with my Moza Aircross 2 as the motor shakes alot everytime I tilt 45 degree to the right.. I used A6400 with 18-105 lens and calibrated correctly and balanced the gimbal but something is not quite right.. Its worse when I use lighter lens..(eg sigma 30)
Awesome tutorial , the best out of them all . When i go to FPV mode i can't get it into Sport Gear mode , i press the right button like you said and it doesn't move from FPV mode , what am i doing wrong ?
You can support this channel by purchasing the gimbal here: amzn.to/2PPB8fv
Even on my pan axis it keeps on rotating but mostly help me on sleep mode problem
Honestly, this is one of the best videos for this gimble.

A Very clear and well explained tutorial. I hope you do more soon.
thanks, and thanks for watching
How 24-70 GM fits with a73 to this gimbal?
I’m curious so completely packing your cameras with batteries, nd filters, etc before balancing - does that include hdmi cable from monitor?
REALLY good instruction and review. Thanks
Great review and tutorial. Very clear and well explained. Thanks.
This video was great!!!! I loved this video, it helped me set up pretty quick! The first video I saw of someone else explaining it confused me. So I’m glad I’m able to subscribe to your channel

Have you tried the Professional Kit version with the iFocusM Motor? Does iFocusM Motor add any value to shooting at all?
If i have this setup vertically will the gimbal get in the way when shooting and moving it around especially in lower angle shots?
Thanks, this helped a lot compared to other videos! Especially the balancing part. Just subscribed.
Hey Evan,
what's a good tool you can recommend for editing videos?
hi great video I followed all your instructions to balance the gimbal but when I switched the power on it just continuously shakes the camera? I try to go to the autotune but it won't allow me to do so. any suggestions
Time saver. Thank you very much for this video!❤
do you have the link to the quick release plate?

Is there any way to attach a field monitor to this ?
Good morning to you Sir how do i updates or install updated on the Gimbal thank you
Thanks for this detailed lesson, I have mine on order.
So would a moza aircross 1 hold a rebel t6 which is a mirrored camera work with it
This is very Helpful 👍🏻👍🏻
Doesn't the 24-105 lens unbalance the gimbal when you are using zoom due to glass element movement ?
Great video!. Thanks a lot. Do you think we can you set the follow focus to zoom instead?

Nice video, can this gimbal be used on FujiFilm A-X7
Nice work. Beautiful assistant)
Hello from Russia) 🙏
Hello, do you know if it works with Canon 80d + sigma 18-35 ?
perfectly explained well done sir
Your example video at the end is not really stable. Same as mine: You can see the walking movement. Why is that? How to solve that?
I believe you have to change the usb mode in camera to pc mode not multi or any other one in order for it to work

I have a question
It’s posible pair my Sony a7ii via Bluetooth or cable?
Great advice. Love it. Although I do wish the suggestion to add the mic before balancing had come before the balancing. 😅

Does this gimbal work on my nikon d7000 and a 18-140
