Ritchie has always maintained magnetic mystique, its why after 50 yrs or so im still interested in what he's getting up too . I've never seen him as a imitator, just a guitar player who gives you what you want ... he's my hero and I always get a buzz playing his stuff im my band . Long live rock and roll 😊

I like the stories, i like the explanations - i don't like the jokes about what Ritchie did.
Making Rock music and making the fans happy isn't a joke this what made you so big and we, the fans adored you and all your friends and band members big.
    Thank you again ❤

I think that's fantastic to find your passion and embrace it and find an intimate audience
That creates a close knit bond
That's more personal - for both the band, and the crowd
    Just brilliant you guys 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Hello Ritchie, as far as I know you owe a cello, too. Why didn't you start learning to play it well. I gave up a using Marhall and all that heavy stuff in the 90ies and never dig regret it. As you know the world is full of music, especially the classical, too. And of course it includes Renaissance music and much more... Kind regards from Germany! 😎

I think he just got fed up with it's sound. I read an interview where he described it as a ''miserable, melancholy instrument.''

I was born in '67, and I was (I would have said forced...) guided towards Rainbow's The Temple of the King by a classmate in '87, who hated me saying bad things about heavy etc (13 a dozen... Cough). He also knew my ideas about humor to the point that he also made me listen to AC/DC's Big Balls and Gillan's No Laughing in Heaven. Now, two funny ones, and one wonderful one that also made me a total devotee of Loreena McKennit decades later?
It's a good thing Richie is not a very friendly (well, approachable) soul! I can like that! And if the two of you can continue to make those wonderful records together, keep on doing it!

‘POMP ROCK PARADING AROUND THE STAGE LIKE A MONKEY WITH MARSHALL AMPS’ 😂😂😂😂😂😅😅😅😅😅😅 Brilliantly FUNNY….lolol…Actually Candice really understands Ritchie’s history and evolution as a musician doesn’t she ? ..Ritchie would rather play to less people for less money to smaller more intimate audiences with a greater social camaraderie with both the musicians and the audience…One can see and understand this.

Only after he made his money. If he was broke he’s be plugging into the marshal amps.

I keep telling myself "Ritchie Blackmore is supposed to be Mr. Mean, this is the guy who will do awful things to you and destroy your self esteem and make you feel terrible..." yet every time I see one of these videos, he comes across as a quiet, interesting, humble (yes, I said it) guy that any intelligent person would love to sit and talk with...and not "What's it like to be in Deep Purple" but about music, art, history...and I'd bet money he plays a fearsome game of chess!

I've known narcissistic musicians who are nice until they get tired of you and they will then rip you to shreds without mercy. They get a kick out of the power dynamic and get rid of you at the same time. It's a win-win for them.

Ritchie...you never paraded around the Stage like a Monkey. 1974 California Jam, You are Respected and looked up to as one of the Finest
Guitar enthusiasts of all time. I get it....Wild Rock N Rollers are a young mans Gig. I developed some playing techniques from watching and listening to you in those 1972-1983 days. I wish for a roll back in time...........when you formed Rainbow. There has got to be an Engineer from those days who can develop the time machine required for this to happen. ( yeah....right, far out). No kidding though, Your B. Night band is terrific. I dig your style of play in this scenario as well. Peace Brother...
