Okay I can’t find this answer anywhere online! I owe 2300 in federal tax. I will do a 120 day or less short term payment plan but my question is does this lock me out of doing another short term plan for 5 years if I need a payment plan again??? If so what would happen if I owe again the following year and can’t pay all up front.

I have own back taxes from irs after paid my debt 5 Month ago thé ajustement on same year tax and same money I paid in past is the same amount due what to do they irs can hold my tax return ? And still didn’t receive notice letters from them
Can interest and penalties be rollover after the 10 year limitation of the collection of the back taxes owed? or does it become uncollectable attached to the 10 year limitation of the back taxes owed?

The late filing penalty, is that from the deadline to file the taxes of that particular year? I owe state apparently from 2017.
If it is 5% per month does that mean the apy is 60%?
