      Ask away! Not sure I can answer everything in a comment section but I’ll let you know if I can’t and it would warrant a consult

    Thanks for explaining the options clearly! I was on a payment plan with an IRS collector, then lost my job and stop paying. Think I need to talk to you.

    I usually end up owing both state and federal every year and I usually do installment plans for both and one time I didn't do just a couple of months of state payments and next thing you know they took it out of my bank with no warning. So far in my experience the state has been more ruthless. Definitely makes you paranoid and worried as to what you these government agencies might put you through at any moment

    We just had several years of back taxes dismissed by the U.S. TAX COURT including ALL INTEREST AND PENALTIES against the IRS for lack of Jurisdiction, Standing and Merit because we ASSERTED the fact that taxable years ENDED AUGUST 16 1954!. Google 26 CFR 1.0-1 paragraph (d) the IRC OF 1954 passed into LAW by the 83rd Congress AS law found in volume 68A of the United States Statutes at Large. We did this Pro Se without a lawyer and it only cost $60 filing fee! The IRS IS 100 PERCENT LIES INTIMIDATION SMOKE AND MIRRORS AND HORSE CRAP.....WHEN YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING AND THEIR BS SCHEME!!

    👍 I withdrew my IRA and didnt pay taxes. I had it in the bank. I lost it all in 1 day when my stock account halved and the money I borrowed from broker had to be repaid. So in essence my equity was given to my broker as payment. My tax payment money went with it. Would this qualify for penalty abatement and estimated tax payment penalty abatement?

      @eataxresolutions  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question, check out a previous video to see if you qualify for a first time penalty abatement: th-cam.com/video/J6WuACHMmNI/w-d-xo.html

    You said that you recommend filing all the back taxes but I understand the IRS only requires six years to be in compliance. the irs website says it rarely goes back past 6 years even though of course it can esp it the SOL has not even begun if one never filed the return
    do you recommend we file all anyway even for CNC /partial installment plans? or only if we are seeking an offer to compromise

    • @eataxresolutions
      @eataxresolutions  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      6 years is correct for compliance in an OIC, CNC, or payment plan.

    Understand this fact. TAXABLE YEARS ENDED AUGUST 16 1954. Google 26 CFR 1.0-1 paragraph (d) the IRC of 1954 passed into LAW by the 83rd Congress AS law and found as volume 68A in the United States Statutes at Large and recorded in the Federal Register ad ENACTED LAW! My God people if the IRS is willing to accept less money then that means......THE TAX WAS NEVER OWED IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!! There has NOT BEEN AN ENFORCEABLE LEGAL INCOME TAX in this country for 70 YEARS!!!! ANY SUBTITLE F COMPLIANT/ENFORCEMENT PROVISIONS TOOK PLACE THE DAY AFTER THE DATE OF ENACTMENT....... AUGUST 17 1954 but on that day there was NO TAX TO ENFORCE because TAXABLE YEARS ENDED THE DAY BEFORE..... AUGUST 16 1954.....BY LAW!!!!!

    I put my pension in an IRA and kept withdrawing from it. The person at the bank advised that I take 10% out every time I withdrew money from the IRA account, now about a year ago I started getting letters from the IRS and the other day received an email from HR at work saying that the IRS was wanting me to confirm my dependents ssn’s. I also have four w2 forms that have never been filed. Not sure where to start or who to see with this situation.

    Regarding #4 - I owe for 2015 and 16, in CNC status currently. There have been a few years since where I didn't file at all because I didn't make any money or well below the requirement for filing. Are those years that I didn't file considered "missing" or am I still current?

    • @eataxresolutions
      @eataxresolutions  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If there is no filing requirement, you should be compliant.
