My therapist had me use the warm wax that came off my hand, form it in a ball, and work my fingers into it. That gave me even more use out of the wax. It stayed soft enough to exercise with it for quite a while.
I was given this wax bath by the VA, I had used it and didn't really notice any difference in my range of motion until my unit failed. I have a new one and am looking forward to starting treatment over again. Thanks for the video and the exercises after.
I love my paraffin wax spa, but I moved it and sort of forgot about it. So glad you reminded me. Also I'm having arthritis flare up in my hand, so the exercises are really timely.
If buying for home use, the produce bags from the grocery store can be used instead of buying new bags. On some home units, the heating element is at the bottom of the wax and can hurt if touched.
Absolutely an essential video... that’s really cool Brad as he snatches it from his hand! Hahahaha I love the friend groove now go enjoy lunch together ya done good! And I’d love one guys!
Note that paraffin waxes have a wide range of melting points, so just buying 'paraffin wax' is NOT a guarantee of low melting point. Buy wax designed for the purpose, or check the melting point.
True, it's easy enough to add some mineral oil and/or petroleum jelly to lower the melting point though. I just did this with some candle paraffin last night!
Hi my fingers have become crooked on the first/topmost joints would this help? I am interested in doing this , also the ball with rubber bands fir each finger. Where can I purchase this?
Hello sir my mother has knee pain and knee gap means liquid was finished in her knees she has too much pain what we do for her operation or another treatment is available for this to back her knees
Hey guys and thanks for this great video. I had a wrist thumb injury from a fall. So far I haven't found a therapy place that offers the paraffin tx which my orthopedic doc listed as a tx..I will keep looking. I would love to get that blue ball but didn't find it on your pt equipment page. Do you have a link for it? Thx!!🙂
what about the oval shaped plastic liner that comes with unit is it to be left in unit when wax is placed in unit or is it to be discarded, looks like it is for that purpose but i dont want to assume it is and have mellted plastic in with melted wax?
hello guys, thanks for all your videos. I have a question. I have been having a pain in the posterior of my right shoulder since a long time, and the only stuff that i found online are about pain in the front or top of the shoulder. it bothers me especially during bench pressing motion but not during shoulder exercises.and the posterior of my shoulder clunks when i for example i clean the table with a sponge. I can't find anything so if you have any idea. Thanks

Thank you very, very much.
Wax for canning is paraffin.
Your microphones need to be replaced, can barely hear what your saying.
Too much going on.
