- Italians are deciding whether to choose their most right-wing government since World War Two, in an election being followed closely across Europe.
Giorgia Meloni leads the far-right Brothers of Italy party and is aiming to become the country's first female prime minister allied with two other parties on the right.
She has softened her image and resents being linked to Italy's fascist past.
Almost 51 million Italians have the right to vote until 23:00 (21:00 GMT).

She's completely extreme right, speaks like Mussolini, hates LGBT people, Muslims, black people, Africans, and so on, and she's bloody terrifying. Yes, perhaps this time the Italians will not march to war or erect concentration camps, but the fascist ideology in this woman is really powerful, she knows how to influence people, and she has contacts in his party with Putin and Viktor Orbán.

I don't know too much about Italian politics, but you can tell when the news has lost impartiality when it starts using music in reports. The UK didn't used to have this, as it encourages the viewer to think and feel a certain way instead of just reading the cold facts.

It has been obvious for a long time that this particularly news outlet doesn't represent the opinions of the people that it claims to represent. I hope the government does something about them. We need more diversity at the BBC. Their views represent only a minority of the British people.

The effective open borders policy by many of the liberal democracies in Europe wasn’t wanted by most of their populations. Because Blair wasn't far left in reality. He came from the left side but he acted as a liberal .
