Just came across your TH-cam channel, while searching beaver trapping in swamps. Nice video, I'm looking for ideas on sets for a place I scouted this afternoon. Weather permitting I'm setting it up tomorrow.

Good show, I'm 99.999% land trapper BUT some water trapping could be on the horizon I have one beave foothold and a couple 330s so I really liked seeing the use of that stand which I don't have buy will soon. Thanks for the cool vid.
    HAPPY TRAILS.

Nice catch man! I wonder if you could hammer in sticks between the springs to hold it up without a stand. I’ve done that before myself in that hard clay bottom.

If you are interested in easy sets for land owners, nothing better, faster, more user friendly or safer than Comstock swim through beaver cage traps. Worth a try. Wondered if they work in the beginning, but after 1,846 beaver catches and many otter, I don't wonder any more.
