I took time off school at 21 and moved back home for a year and will probably move back in again when i finally finish school
I moved out in 2015 and have been living at home since 2016. Out again in 2018, back again in 2019. Life 😅
The only thing I have to complain about this pack is that the infant stage goes by way too fast

I love how Deli use a moderate amount of clutter. It makes houses much more playable. Also I always feel so bad deleting clutter from houses from the gallery, but I need space for my family's stuff lol
I always need to delete a lot of clutter and outdoor plants to be able to actually play with the houses from the gallery
can you please do this again with all the packs, i feel like your creativity will do it JUSTICE.
I’m getting this just for the piano 😂 as a musician, we need more instruments in this game. I’m starting to get bored of that grand piano, bcause it doesnt suite a traditional home like this.
No literally! I always use the keyboard because the grand piano is just too BIG! we need an instrument kit
I am not a musician, but I'm in disbelief that there's not a drum set in the game! Flutes would be so easy to model! It's literally just guitar, violin, and piano. It's very limited.

The young adult's room getting turned into something else is so real! After I moved out my mom started turning my room into her arts and crafts room.

I have the desk glitch with bunk beds too!!! It's been happening to me for over a year no matter what bed/desk combo I use, so thank you deli for telling the sims team. I have hope it might finally be addressed and I can use bunk beds again 😁

Please please please do your idea about adding more wallpaper via a PDF side by side. We desperately need more plain wallpapers. This is an absolutely fantastic idea! 🤞🏼Fingers Crossed EA will take your feature request seriously and add new wallpapers to the game. ❤

The young adult room is so right! My room is now my mum’s extended wardrobe with a bed for when I come home.. and my best friend had been at uni for a year and went home and her mum had sold her bed! Had to sleep on a blow up mattress on the floor 😂

It would be cool to be able to hire a music teacher to come to your house and teach your child piano/violin/guitar lessons
Catching up on this series, loving it so far! You should def prioritize expanding the nursery and adding a second bathroom (maybe off the guest room?) Any extras could go to a few more skill/fun items or mayyybeee painting the outside. Also, money bin!

I try to build but I never have an idea of what I want to do going in. Sometimes it works and I end up with a cool house. Other times I end up staring at my computer screen forever.
My parents turned my bedroom into a giant walk-in pantry… lol
Just found something out by accident 😂 not sure how many people know but if you click more options on the box baby basinet, you can now change the outfit of the baby! Without knitting for hours 😂 there are loads of cute outfits ☺️
Absolutely love this build ❤ I will definitely download this I like the idea of the toddler room being right next to the parents room your builds really inspire me to want to build more .
Hi Deli! It's not just that desk/bunkbed combo, its all. I've experienced it a couple times with different combinations and couldn't figure out why my clutter was missing! Great build as always!

i was having that issue with the desk items disappearing under the bunbed before the update!! idk where it came from but it's been an issue for a while
Ii love this build. I like the fact you don't overdo the landscaping and make it more realistic. I can't wait to get the pack. Have to wait until payday. You make it look like it will add so much.

Movies definitely don't portray money realistically, but it's also worth remembering that the US is a large country, and has parts where land is very cheap. These areas have their own problems (lack of jobs, limited access to healthcare) but when you add in the predatory lending that banks get up to, you can definitely find places in the US with very large homes, despite a lot of poverty.
I think it's also just easier to film in a large space, hah. But the US views house size differently than most of the world. I grew up in NYC, so I never saw Hallmark style houses growing up, but since moving away, I've had roommates who grew up in families who had serious money struggles, but who also had childhood bedrooms that struck me as huge (like from a Nickelodeon show!😄Those kids always had the best bedrooms.)
I am IN LOVE with this home!!! I love craftsman homes and will definitely be downloading this. I also love a limited pack/pack and base game build as well!
when i get a chance to download this build im keeping those faux wardrobes to store sleeping bags and then suitcases when guests come over

I’ve been having that desk under the bunk bed glitch for months and months. And the dream home modular shelves. The items always disappear and go into the inventory.

The glitch of items popping off their surface is one that's existed for a while now - basically anything on a surface that is snapped to another object (such as anything on a desk that is snapped into a bunkbed, or anything on a one of the DHD shelves that are snapped to other DHD shelves) will get put into the household inventory upon reloading the lot. It's incredibly frustrating, and if you can get them to fix that bug, I know so many of us builders would be eternally grateful 😅💜
Not just builders... gameplay exclusives would love that too 😉 it's so annoying
I found a way to fix the bug on reddit. Save the lot to your library, bulldoze and then place the lot back down.
I think I remember watching a video a while ago that said the items disappearing had something to do with how items slotting together in Sims 4 works. The clutter ends up in your household inventory so I just keep the clutter slotted to the secondary item minimal then put them back when I load the game.

Love this house! Also, I've had the deletion of items on desks which are under an upper bunk bed issue for AGES. The only ways I've been able to "fix" the problem is by putting the desk perpendicular to the bed, so that it creates an "L" shape OR to move the desk out from under the bed completely. I know it isn't really a fix, but I just got so annoyed at having to replace everything that was on the desk every time I loaded up the save.

I love this house so much. Allie moved in a bit prematurely haha. It's just her and her infant Kassandra atm but she plans to have a big family as a single parent and wanted to get the space asap.

The walk in wardrobes are from Get Together if anyone rlly wanted that particular item. There’s a wardrobe that also functions as a puppet show in kids rooms stuff too

I’m building my first family with infants in our cottage living town. And I love the house it’s a cute blue farm house… but it only has two bedrooms and I am not good at creating additions. Definitely hoping you create a farmhouse/craftsman home that is four bedrooms and where the treehouse is in the backyard.

I do too, but please never stop. It brings joy to my soul, and it is always fun to be reminded that different places have different customs. But no matter where we live, we are all just people.

We got our toddler used to his own space from the day we brought him home from hospital as a itty bitty baby. Straight to his own room; as soon as he could he started to tell us to go away when he is ready to sleep 😅

Love this build! In America we say “homey” to describe like a cozy home or atmosphere. Homely in the US means plain/unattractive (by American definition, although in my region I don’t hear this term ever, maybe it’s more of a generational word and is used by elder generations / not sure.)
I'm also from the US, specifically the East Coast, and I also have never heard this term before. I had to look up what it meant and was surprised we use this term. I learned something new by watching this video 😅

Folks I babysit for turned their walk-in closet into a toddler bedroom. I'm intending to turn my closet into a little alcove bedroom now that my daughter is reading for a big girl bed but not quite ready to be in her own room. It's definitely a space saver!

The bug with the bunk bed/desk and items on top of the desk and or the desk chair has been since Dream Home Decorator was released. I submitted a bug report back in 2021 when the pack was released.

Yes !!!! I have started playing a familly ... trying to complete all 3 parenting aspirations (two base game & parenthood one) which I haven't done in years... plus trying to make sure each of the 3 kids reach every mile stone... it's pure chaos which is exactly the opposite of my usual game play (I run a tight ship) and I actually play in one of your houses renovated... I was starting to "worry" because I will need extra rooms to allow for 3 generations to live there and I just cant deal with building right now ! So this is perfect !!!
Shame the lots are so small in San Sequoia... it's probably my biggest complaint with the pack, having to choose between living in a cramped box with a yard or having a decent sized family home wity no outdoor space ...
I get why there aren't many huge 64×64 lots but come on... a few 40 by 30 would have been good !!!
You always make the roofs look so good.. I can never get a roof to look good hehe.😅

In America Homey in regard to a house is positive, Homey in regard to a person is derogatory. It more or less means a person who doesn't care about how they look, frumpy housewife style. Homey as a home is sort of lower quality but comfortable. Kinda like Cozy means small but warm and inviting.
My parents 100% turned my old room into a storage/yoga room 😂
I could get that house where I live for 300,000 at the most. Even though an apartment cost 800 a month with nothing included. One bedroom in the hood.

I might need a house like this to move into… I have a family of four (Mom & dad, two kids) but she’s got the unfulfilled dream to have a third (and probably fourth right after) and I don’t have room in our house for a teen, kid, and baby/toddler 😅. They barely have room for the four of them as is 😂
That desk glitch is all desks slotted to bunkbeds I believe and I REALLY wish they'd fix that. It's pretty annoying. 😅
