    How to deal with a temper tantrum:
    Step 1: Pull out your phone and hit record.

    • @SkylineMasher
      @SkylineMasher 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Note: the Mom does not really upload this to TH-cam when they record the video. The child hits upload to TH-cam when they see the recording from the mom’s phone actually.

    To calm him down he needs to hear firm but calm voices. I wouldn't engage in arguing with the child. It helps when you let them know ahead of time you only get so many minutes of TV & give them a 5 minute warning . We used to have a timer & set it and show the child it's set. He sounds tired. These are some tips I use for my kiddos. Raising children is not for the weak-lol...hats off to all the parents of toddlers & young children. Love em.through it. You are not alone. Don't take it personally they are trying to figure out how to deal y their emotions. You are their life line...stay calm and you can do this😘

    Sounds like my 4yo, though, I wouldn't classify it as a temper tantrum, just expressing sadness in an unfiltered form.
    I used to argue with her, now I just remind her what the rules are and see if she needs a hug/ remind her that it's ok to have feelings and remind her why we do things the way we do (such as it's so she doesn't get hurt or we need to be efficient due to a time limit).
    Sometimes I tell her about how I had to do the same thing and how it made me feel/ how my mom did things about it.

    listening to this was so sad.. how is he supposed to regulate his emotions if mom is using that tone of voice, making him feel bad instead of understanding him and helping him Actually understand why he has to eat in the kitchen.
    Why would someone even post this to show this terrible parenting style? :(

      Do you have kids? Do you know how many times a day this kid already did this. 5 is harder than any age. The tantrums are all day long for the smallest things.

    The reason why he can’t eat in the living room is because he’s going to make a mess, his mom could pause it like she just said, It’s best for him to just eat in the kitchen and than in the living room so he doesn’t make a mess like his mom said.

    • @Rusch1776

      Kids are messy. Spaghetti doesn’t belong in the living room no matter how much your kid cries and says they want it. We’re supposed to be parents and teach not allow them rules and boundaries, just like adults have. Not let them do everything they wanna do because they don’t wanna leave their television. Yes we do not know what mom is feeding the child. But if the rules in the house is no food in the living room then who are we to say otherwise.
