I'm annoyed with TH-cam's algorithm, why didn't they let me discover this version before? Simple, human, soft and graceful, one of the best 998 version.
Maybe one never "owns" Bach, but as a composer he offers an en endless variety of musical possibilities. However, this is a really amazing interpretation, that show so much understanding of this music, of which the main part is the joy of playing (that does about all of the conveying!) rather than some correct dogmatism. She plays with so much freedom, joy, and personality, and she definitely owns the guitar. I listened to this video time and again, thanks a lot! It's wonderful!
A beautiful performance. The video work is excellent too. Different angles, down the next shots, and close-ups of the artist. Good editing also. It takes a lot to make a video.
John Knowles showed this to me today, Rosie, and I love your beautiful tone. I can hear all the different moving parts, the voices, and, therefore, I know that you hear them, too. Kudos to you!
Might be the recording but can’t here the theme when it’s in the bass. I like performance regardless but wonder if she’s not emphasizing it or it’s just too midrange of a mic.

This woman deserves a much larger audience, both as to her music, and to her world view. She is an elegant person.
Many times I have returned to this video for inspiration. Rosie is special.
The best performances are always subtle and nuanced. This is one of those performances. 🙂

Respect! Very soft touch, very soulful rendition
Rosie is clearly moved by the music, as she demonstrates the elegance and grace of the melody as I am.
As you are
I listened to this tune when long time ago I studied in Heidelberg. It brings up so much memories...
Subtle beautiful playing by someone who knows what Bach's music is about.
You play very beautifully and with a very fine and sensitive feeling. I like it. Kenneth Olofsson Sweden
Wunderschoen und so musikalisch! Bravo!

I really love these contrapuntal lines of the first part.
Stunning execution. Thank you
Brilliant! I love her interpretation.
I can't find an album yet by Ms Bennet. I hope there is one soon coming.

Bach himself would have liked this beautiful interpretation. Thank you.
