Congratulations and many blessings in law school. I will be taking the January 2022 LSAT and watching various youtube videos by students of color talking about their journey in getting into law school is extremely inspiring and helpful. Thank you.
I have a cousin who never studied much,we studied together but she gives most of her time to her phone than studies after writing LSAT, she passed and I failed😣, I asked her how she did it, just found out she got her help from Mr Thomas ..
Hi! I just found your channel. Thank you so much for doing this video! I just moved to Texas and all the law schools you mentioned I am applying too. My UGPA isn’t the highest (3.4) and I am taking my LSAT tomorrow, but I trust God to get me in - no matter what!
Congrats!!! I LOVE YOUR AUTHENTICITY! Keep on being authentic. I can relate to so many things mentioned in this video and it gives me lots of hope. Thanks for posting/uploading it! SUBBED!
Wow, thank you so much for making this video. I was really ready to give up on this journey because of my hardships with the lsat. Wishing you well on this journey and I pray prosperity for you! God Bless you girl! ❤ #blacklawyersmatter
Thurgood Marshall's admissions department is horribly disorganized and incompetent. I called about the status of my application and was told it was placed on hold for being incomplete. I asked which requirement was missing because I submitted everything. I was told I only had one LOR, which was a lie. Then, I was told my submission was late, which was another lie. Every item was submitted before the deadline. They discovered that my other letter was mistakenly attached to another student's file. The Dean brushed their mistake off as unimportant and encouraged me to reapply for the next cohort. NEVER would I apply to that school. They took no accountability and failed to refund my application fee. I applied with the reasonable expectation that my application would be reviewed and considered during the cycle to which I applied, not to have it sitting on a shelf due to someone's careless mistake.
That’s so crazy how you got into UT with that LSAT score you must have had a 4.0 GPA & strong softs. A LSAT 149 IS CRAZZZZYYYYY & me being a minority I guess they don’t do affirmative action anymore since the Supreme Court banned that so if I get a low lsat then I won’t be able to get into the schools you got in. Essentially it’s a lot harder now to get into those schools you mentioned
To assume I got in by way of affirmative action is a mistake. Some of my white classmates had the exact same score as me. Please don’t limit yourself, and know that you bring more to the table beside your minority status.
@@kirstenlanae2881 I’ll go ahead and apply I’ll most likely get rejected tho my gpa is 3.3 & ill need a 170 LSAT to be competitive at least what their numbers say on the website as of this morning

I failed 3 times, i lost money to reviews that never helped but the major thing is that I've not lost hope
Passing the LSAT is when you study hard,if you can't study or you don't have time for your studies I'd advise you get yourself help like Mr Thomas
I had interest in working with him but I was discouraged by my friends out of ignorance 😔

Please does anyone know who this Mr Thomas is? I really need to speak with him I’m frustrated.
I’ve been waiting all my life for this video🙌🏾

How was the LSAT?
How did it go?
Did you get in
Love your honesty.
Logic games were a Struggle!! Love this transparency! Hopefully they’ll get rid of standardized testing one day!
You understand the you weren’t made for this, right?
I really appreciate you making this because I’ve been worried about taking the LSAT because I’m not a great test taker.

Did you get accepted to ThurgoodMarshall?
I’m sure, she got into UT Austin rank number 16. Thurgood is rank 189 or something
Yes ma’am!

Congratulations
Did you get any scholarship money?
Unfortunately not. That’s the downside to having a low LSAT - less likelihood of scholarships
Are you in law school?
Graduated and passed the bar (:
@@kirstenlanae2881 congrats! What a feat! Wish to be like you

@@kirstenlanae2881I mean looking at what UT Accepts now is crazy. Have you seen the stats you need to even step foot into their doors?
@@iFrankie. the same stats that were required when I applied in 2020
