Hello Hoop Group! A few of you have decided to step into the realm of Bling! Rhinestone Designs are fun to use, especially when you can cut your own. I successfully cut rhinestone templates with my Cricut Explore One and my Cricut Air 2! These are the steps I take to cut rhinestone templates with Cricut Design Space!

** I set my pressure to "Bonded Fabric" on my Cricut.**
** Peel the paper backing off of the rhinestone flock BEFORE putting the flock sticky side down on your cricut mat**

Hello. Just wanted to say thank you for the tutorial it was very helpful. New to using my Cricut and using Rhinestones. Need to know exactly what size rhinestones is best on t-shirts and brand. I want to make sure i's getting the one for cups but for clothing.

I will definitely buy the program ! One question tho. What cut do you use in DS? I have found that frustrating also finding what cuts the flock the best. This has helped me more than any other video I’ve watched on rhinestones in DS! I look forward to more of your videos!

Rhinestones can be done with Cricut despite how they have changed their platform. An outside program will make it helpful.

I reviewed your link for make the cut. It says it is no longer compatible with Cricut. Have you used Sure Cuts A Lot.

Thank you! I appreciate the commendation. We have a rhinestone for Beginners class that you can watch anytime. For basic vinyl or embroidery classes we don't have those aside from our live streams.
Awesome videos... I watched both of your rhinestones videos... the cut and the press. Question. Approximately how long did the cutting take for the hbcu shirts that you made? I understand the length of time depends on the design.. but I have an order that will probably use a similar amount of bling with three colors.. brown, gold and silver.

I've been trying to cut and its not cutting it. I can pull it off and partially the template doesn't comes off all in one. Can u please help?

Thank you! When you buy your rhinestone files, it should give you the correct measurements so you can completely skip the step of opening it in another program first! Have a wonderful day!
question would it be easier or could you even do a design in cameo silhouette then save file and add to design space or no not possible
Yes you can BUT from what I understand, in order to save as an SVG, have to buy the Silhouette Business Edition. Once you save as an SVG, you can then upload it to Cricit Design Space.If you purchase the S.B E., you have to download the free basic edition first, THEN, download the Business edition.
how do I know what size rhinestones to buy.
are they all the same size for all templates
No ma'am, but the designers will list the stones that make up the design on the JPG of the design. Ss10 stones are the primary sizes but there can be other sizes from time to time.

It depends upon the design you purchase. Designs are made for specific sized stones. A GOOD design will tell you what size stones to use.
This will be my first time cutting rhinestone template but I don’t know what setting to put my cricut maker on to cut the rhinestone flock so please help

It is still compatible. The website said that back when I bought it. 👍🏾 You create the svg with make the cut, save it to your computer, then upload it to cricut design space

oh no! Were you able to get the key? If not, you can also use Sure Cuts A Lot or Silhouette Business Edition.

My question is I have a shirt that has a beautiful Crystal design on it. I cannot find a vinyl or applique anywhere like it. Is there any way to scan this and sent it to Cricut to pick up the design and the stone placement ?

My "Go to" stone size is ss10. However the design dictates what size stones you will ultimately use.

I down loaded a trial version of the make the cut software program...but what I am missing in the tutorial is how to actually make a rhinstone template from the SVG design. Can you help please?
Unfortunately I can't help with that part. I choose to purchase designs that are already made OR pay to have them made for me to cut myself. I dont have the patience to arrange all of those dots!!!

Hello, my name is Toni. I'm just seeing this video and interested in learning how to cut rhinestones via cricut. I looked up the Make the cut soft ware as it say it no longer compatiable for cricut. My question is since video was made three years ago, is this information still relevant, so I don't waste money and time purchasing the make the cut software and should I be looking to purchase another software? Get Sure Cuts ALot instead or, better yet Silhouette business edition. Make the cut is indeed compatible with cricut. They state its not because you can not send designs to the machine from their software. But you CAN save svg files and upload to cricut design space to cut on the cricut.
