We like to use our TRW blade holder and 65 degree Roland blade, compatible with the Explore Air 2, to cut Magic Flock. I find that using a custom setting works best. I like to use a pressure of 210 and a multicut of 2. Start there and do test cuts before committing to a larger design. - TRW Haley
Hello. First Thanks for all you do to help us. My question is im confused on how to make the font different sizes using SS10 for different size shirts.Would the font be the same for a small t-shirt VS a 2X? Thank You
You’re welcome! We love to help and also have our weekly free trainings here every Monday night. You’d need to use different rhinestone fonts for different sized shirts or words. We have hundreds available on our site. -TRW Pilar
@@TheRhinestoneWorld Ohh Thanks so much Pilar. That makes sense. I already purchased one thats way to big this most degree is a leaning experience. I did download the free clean version in this video but Im having problems uploading it to my Cricut design space. Is this font for Cameo only?
OK so let's say I am doing a shamrock and I did the contour step and marched the size for ss20. Now if I change size of my shamrock will I need to redo the circle sizes? I guess I should do my shamrock size first then the contour step right? Sorry that's like several questions. I'm sure you understand lol.
Thank you for this tutorial, Will you please do a video / tutorial on how to do a template with text using and sizing for ss6 rhinestones please and show us how we would calculate to get the right size or to put in the correct size for the different stone sizes i.e., like you did the ss10's. I would really appreciate you so much ....cc
So I tried it and got stuck only because I'm such a newbie lol. Followed all the steps in Design Space and then it asked me what material to select and I had no clue :(( , so I cancelled everything. Of course, now I know that I should have picked "fabric". So I will try again. Don't give up Norma LOL

Thanks Matt! I was so excited to find this video, but I'm having problems. I'm trying to make a template for a mask using a fancy rhinestone font. My size for the design can't be any larger than 3.25. I set the size, then do the contour to set the stone size to .135, and the size increases. If I adjust the size of the design back down, does it mess up the stone size? Plus it takes forever for the design to appear in the contour box...why? Thanks for your help!
Hey there! Unfortunately, that's kind of just the way things are when you're working with rhinestone designs. The whole design is made up of hundreds of little holes. When you change the size of those holes, it is going to effect the size of the entire design. There's really no way around that, especially when working with Design Space, except for maybe adding or removing some stones manually. - TRW Haley
Hi, thank you for the video. when i have mae the "dots" to the 0.135 etc, and i want to make the word Ella for a t-shirt, how would i then be able to resize to lets say 7inch long without the "dots" then becoming bigger??
Unlike an SVG, you can not change the size of a rhinestone font or design because of the preset holes for the rhinestones. You will need to use a rhinestone font that is already sized to your desired dimensions. I have attached a link to the rhinestone fonts we sell. You can select which size font you are looking for under "Rhinestone Font Height". www.therhinestoneworld.com/fonts -TRW Abby
Hello. I just recently subscribed. I found your videos. And I started to follow on all your media. I wanted to try this on my cricut and when I went download you the free trw clean stone font. It says error 403-forbidden access is denied. Is it no longer available??
@@TheRhinestoneWorld really wish I had known this before I purchased a bunch of tiny fonts in 2020 because this and other TRW videos say we can resize! They're essentially useless now because I need at least 5-7 inches tall.
I love all of your videos - they are great - trying to sell stuff for my daughters cheer team - is the rhinestone template still available for free ? I’m having trouble downloading it - any help would be great - thank you 😉
If you're having troubles, we have thousands of other fonts and designs on site. Be sure to look in the free design a day template, there's a free font in there and new designs daily! :-) -TRW Crystal
That's gonna be tough in Design Space! I recommend taking a look at the designs on our website and holding off on creating your own until you're ready to upgrade to a software like Silhouette Studio, which works better with rhinestones. - TRW Haley
awesome videos...,My rhinestones i got were supposed to be SS10, but they are SS8 because they are only 2.5mm not 2.9. what can i do to change the size of the template contours in Space.
@@TheRhinestoneWorld I actually watched that one already but I was wondering how to import an image from scratch and make it into a cut file for rhinestones. Like the text one but an image. The baseball video has the cut file already done.
You do either one so if you resize it then the holes would become the .135 or you could just change the holes to the .135 and the dimensions of the design should become the correct size. 😊 -TRW Mireya
Hey I’m having some troubles when pulling apart the flock from the white sheet, the rhinestone pieces never detach and I end up picking them out myself. Anything I can do to fix this?
Quick question so what would be the measurements on the Cricut design space be if I were to use ss16 rhinestone.. thanks you your videos are so helpful 😊
I'm following your steps but my text keeps getting larger than I want it to cut once I show all contours again. How can I get it to stay at the desired cut size

Our next size up on our charts from the ss10 at .135, is for ss16 at .173, so split the difference a bit and you should be all set!

We are always creating awesome videos! Be on the look out for more Cricut tutorials!

Can you use the Joy to cut a flock template for a cheer bow, will it cut that 15inch template cut
Yes, we've used the Joy often for projects. As long as it'll fit, it'll cut.
-TRW Crystal
Matt, what blade do you cut this with on a cricut? And pressure.
We like to use our TRW blade holder and 65 degree Roland blade, compatible with the Explore Air 2, to cut Magic Flock. I find that using a custom setting works best. I like to use a pressure of 210 and a multicut of 2. Start there and do test cuts before committing to a larger design.
- TRW Haley
@@TheRhinestoneWorld That setting is no good for Magic Flock on Air2 standard blade. Bonded fabric setting works ok.
Thank you, that was extremely helpful
Glad it helped!🥰️

You read my mind!
Cynthia Ross, hope you enjoyed the video. Matt
Thank you so much! Been waiting for this!
Happy to help!

Nope I got my answer lol
That was so stupid lol. Of course I need to do size first.
There are no stupid questions with us :-) We're always happy to help out.
-TRW Crystal
Thank you for this tutorial, Will you please do a video / tutorial on how to do a template with text using and sizing for ss6 rhinestones please and show us how we would calculate to get the right size or to put in the correct size for the different stone sizes i.e., like you did the ss10's. I would really appreciate you so much ....cc
On our site we have the point sizes needed in the descriptions :-)
For the circle size with ss06 - .097" - for ss10 .135"
-TRW Crystal
@@TheRhinestoneWorld thank you so much. I apologize I didn't see them. I have them now. Thank you again so much
@@TheRhinestoneWorld I h
Thank you This was perfect! What temperature would you press the rhinestone on?
We would press at a temperature of 325. 😊
-TRW Mireya
Thank you so much for the free practice design. But how and when do you size it?
You can resize designs by following this video!
th-cam.com/video/4v6uVM-5lW0/w-d-xo.html
-TRW Bri
I am actually expecting some items that I did purchase from you recently and now that I have the free font, I will be able to practice :)))). Thanks
Awesome! You can do it!
-TRW Abby
So I tried it and got stuck only because I'm such a newbie lol. Followed all the steps in Design Space and then it asked me what material to select and I had no clue :(( , so I cancelled everything. Of course, now I know that I should have picked "fabric". So I will try again. Don't give up Norma LOL
I am new to these awesome rhinestones. Where are the follow up videos to this one, please?
We have thousands on our channel. Just search keywords inside the channel and many pop up on any subject. Here's another good one for Design Space users: th-cam.com/video/pqD1e_WCfvk/w-d-xo.html

😯 wow so awesome I would have never thought to do it this way! Thank you 😃

Can you do this for the Silhoutte when you finish?
If u download the circuit software u should be able to do it save it and open it in silhouette.
TRW has dozens of tutorials using Silhouette software. 😊
Pilar Harrison Thanks Pilar. I guess I have to look harder.

will the stone still be the right size if you make the size of the princess smaller?
Unfortunately not! You won't be able to resize the design.
- TRW Haley
Very COOL!!!!
Thanks for watching! 😁

- TRW Haley
@@TheRhinestoneWorld ok. Thanks for responding!
You can select which size font you are looking for under "Rhinestone Font Height". www.therhinestoneworld.com/fonts
-TRW Abby

Love it!! Thank you!!! How can I do clip art rhinestones
That's gonna be tough in Design Space! I recommend taking a look at the designs on our website and holding off on creating your own until you're ready to upgrade to a software like Silhouette Studio, which works better with rhinestones.
- TRW Haley
Trying today -thnx!
Talemaker Havanese You're very welcome! Thank you for watching. Matt
awesome videos...,My rhinestones i got were supposed to be SS10, but they are SS8 because they are only 2.5mm not 2.9. what can i do to change the size of the template contours in Space.
For ss08 the hole diameters will be 0.118" -TRW Crystal
Can this method be used with any ss10 template?
It should work to size your design :-)
-TRW Crystal
What is the size on tge template, because I followed your instructions and my holes where too small.
Im having the same issue. I even tried the link he provided for all of their fonts and rhinestone measurements per font. Nothing is working

@@TheRhinestoneWorld I actually watched that one already but I was wondering how to import an image from scratch and make it into a cut file for rhinestones. Like the text one but an image. The baseball video has the cut file already done.

Great tutorial but I can’t seem to get the free font to upload any suggestions
Thank you
EricA Terry, Weird? When you download it, it will go into your font library.
i hadto go to my download file and find the font, then install it and it went to the fonts, it took 3 hours for it to show up in cricut fonts
So Cool Thank You

This is awesome but how do you do templates that you bought and uploaded to DS? The cut out is still not accurate for the size rhinestones I use.
We have a great video explaining the process of sizing a rhinestone design: th-cam.com/video/4v6uVM-5lW0/w-d-xo.html
-TRW Kaitlin
Using clean stone font for the first time - when do I size my image to correct size - before or after I make the circles .135?
You do either one so if you resize it then the holes would become the .135 or you could just change the holes to the .135 and the dimensions of the design should become the correct size. 😊
-TRW Mireya
Wow Thank you Matt I have a Cricut
Lucy, Awesome! So glad the Video helped you! Thanks for watching! Matt
Hey I’m having some troubles when pulling apart the flock from the white sheet, the rhinestone pieces never detach and I end up picking them out myself. Anything I can do to fix this?
Nico Martinez, Just do small test cuts to find the right settings. Also, Make sure to pull from different corners to see which works best.
Try doing a test cut using the flocked paper setting. I used it and it cut great.
OMG. That's happened to me so many times that I've given up trying. Did you ever figured it out? If you would you mind sharing? Thanks
@@norma9548 I just turned the blade depth up and up, they all still don’t stick to the sheet to pull them off but I just manually do it now
Quick question so what would be the measurements on the Cricut design space be if I were to use ss16 rhinestone.. thanks you your videos are so helpful 😊
The measurements for SS16 stones are 0.173"
-TRW Bri
Why does it say 337 for ss16 on your font excel file? What would ss20 be? Thanks
I'm following your steps but my text keeps getting larger than I want it to cut once I show all contours again. How can I get it to stay at the desired cut size
You might have to adjust the rhinestone size to a size that can fit your desire design. Let me know if you keep having trouble. You can contact us at info@therhinestoneworld.com.
