Most underscored event ever! For all the effort gymnasts put into a so long and exhausting event, while trying to be "artistic" it should be easier to get 14+ scores with a good routine.

Tony Cahill I honestly think she’s a better choice than Grace McCallum. They’re pretty equal on vault, but Leanne’s better and more consistent on bars and beam. Floor, Grace has the edge. But when Leanne fixes her floor, I’m certain she’ll succeed.
Yes omg I'm still mad they didn't take her to worlds over Grace. If she went she will probably medal in balance beam considering Kara didn't make the finals in the first place.

MD-722 Na, she Would actually have a chance for a medal. Only 3-4 men have competed a triple dubbel (what I know of) so it would be cool too see what Biles would have done in a male competition as a competitor

Simone has shut my mouth. I'm not afraid to admit it and I'm glad she's doing so. No gymnast has done that and that's saying something. Every other gymnast is a joke in the floor with their "artistry" and lack of power.

@@annapavfan5314 Mate, firstly my comment was made in jest, namely due to the fact that anyone who knows the sport well enough to know Pavlova would probably be asking themselves the same thing. Because at what point did I challenge Pavlova's artistry in my comment? Exactly...
My point stems from the fact that Pavlova has been one of the single most complete female gymnasts since the new scoring system. She is almost unrivalled in artistry which she was also capable of coupling with decent competitive difficulty--such as her signature double layouts. People such as Carey and Biles have yet to prove themselves capable of doing this.
Because where you quite accurately listed the likes of Hurd and Melnikova as gymnasts who do, there also the likes of S. Lee, Saraiva and pretty much the entirety of WC 2019's FX final, bar Biles.
So when you bash those who still seek to prize artistry as part of a well balanced routine, yet have the username Anna Pavfan. It does come across as quite strangely yet blindlingly hypocritical!
@@MD-722 Ok I see where you are going with this. My statement does seem hypocritical as well as my username with how I worded my comment. I should've said that Biles has shut me up with the succesful come back as well as the difficulty department... *rewording my unclear comment*
And for the girls who lack the difficulty to focus on their "artistry", are a joke and to the code and the current standards of gymnastics. They could never rival the 70-90's. And I do have my reasons to why I didnt mention other gymnasts and very unfair of my part, wont lie, but I just stopped keeping up with like I used to. It has been such a let down and Anna was unrivalled in artistry, but unfortunately the code just wasnt rewarding to her. Jade Carey is just a disgrace to this sport. I definitely cant even describe more to it.

Why do women now end their tumbles with arms down to stabilize? It doesn’t look pretty at all. At least Biles does hers with the traditional salute with arms raised on each run.

rileys 14.050 is complete bull crap, kara and leanne both beat her in execution and difficulty if you're asking me that's why I believe the judging is and always will be subjective

Hey 👋 uh gymnastics 🤸♀️ are so difficult to challenge themselves especially girls females and mans boys to discipline hard to do workout 🏋️♀️ gym and training workout 🏋️♀️ it’s never easy is harder realistic
É incontestável que as americanas são excelentes ginastas, mas eu acho as notas delas muito infladas, os jurados exageram.
tarcisio lopes é porque elas fazem elementos mais difíceis. Essa é a estratégia delas, encher o esquema de solo de elementos com muita dificuldade para somarem pontos. Os jurados não podem fazer muito se não dar os pontos que elas merecem pelos elementos, está nas regras da FIG quantos pontos cada um desses elementos vale. Os jurados só podem avaliar a execução e nesse ponto as americanas têm a mesma pontuação que todas as outras.
Atenção que esta estratégia das americanas de executarem só elementos com muita dificuldade está a começar a ser praticado por outros países. Depois da Simone se reformar acho que as competições vão voltar a ficar mais renhidas. Mas este desporto é assim mesmo, está em constante evolução antes das americanas, eram as russas a executar elementos com muita dificuldade, depois as chinesas, etc.. o desporto vive agora a era das americanas com a Simone Biles e todas as ginastas americanas que irão suceder. Nada tem a ver com os jurados. Você pode culpar o código de pontos da FIG que valoriza muito a dificuldade mas os jurados não pode fazer nada quanto a isso, têm que seguir as regras. E não esquecer que ginástica é o desporto mais perigoso do mundo! Portanto se as americanas estão a executar elementos dificílimos pondo a sua vida em risco acho que devem ser recompensadas com as devidas pontuações!

Unhappily, all you need in floor is to have your skill evaluated and land confidently, the rest is for the public delight only. Even good form is opcional depending on the competition or the flag.
