Carlos Yulo's win made me tear up. Through his continuous successes, gymnastics is now being given the attention it deserves in my home-country. Thanks for sharing this amazing compilation.
If only biles could do all the sequences and tricks that those guys do (included hands free) you could appoint her in this video ! For example, take a look at 11:15 ............. Can you compare those sequences twisted without longs and doubles momentums !!??
I love the heterogeneity in the sport these days... there’s literally dudes from everywhere in the ranks. One has no choice but to stan this quad for male gymnastics
Raulland Zapknai I agree with you, these results were biased. Who ever made this included the scores in the qualifiers. Latest I saw was that of when Yulo has beaten Artem.
Carlos is the world champion but the objective of the video is to show the highest scores regardless of the ranking in the competition or the qualifications. It’s to show which routine was “theoretically” the best of the year. But it’s always a bit biased because scores given in world cups are not always comparable with continental or world championships. Scores at the Paris Cup were a bit inflated for example. And I think that Carlos’ routine in Stuttgart was one the best of the year, especially in terms of execution, and it happened to be in the event final... so ka-ching for him and his gold medal.
1) MAG needs more facial hair 2) twists are impressive, but simple layouts and pikes are still the prettiest 3) why is Yulo’s outfit so different from everyone else’s?
You would see them in WAG too if they weren't limited to 4 passes. Men generally do 6 passes and have 20 less seconds to do them in. I really wish they'd limit it to 5. Mens routines often feel so rushed, which detracts from the aristry, and that extra pass is all too often not so impressive.
Yes. They have to do enough tumbling passes now to rack up the D score, but they also have to use the entire floor area. Which means they need to put in a side pass, but one that will still add to the D score. The only side pass that’s worth anything anymore is a double full. The current CoP has homogenized the sport so much that too many routines look the same. There is no variety or style anymore because the rules have become so rigid they don’t allow for “artistry” anymore. You’ll never see artistically beautiful routines like Ioannis Melissanidis, Alexei Nemov, or Kyle Shewfelt anymore. www.fig-gymnastics.com/publicdir/rules/files/mag/CoP_MAG_2017-2020_ICI-e.pdf
@@captainbryce1 Women used to do this too. A number of women, for example, at the 2008 Olympics did 5 passes, often adding a double twist. People complained that their routines had lost artistry and were too focused on tumbling. I only wish they would do the same with the men.
Honestly, men’s tumbling often isn’t harder than women’s. It’s kinda awkward for them because the floor is not nearly big enough to get a full running start like the women. I wonder how different it would be with a proportional floor
@Sally Vee when SImone starts doing a triple front or even a 2 and a half front I'll agree with you. For now she's just a mediocre "man" in womens gymnastics.
@@daro2404 Biles would not be a top gymnast against men at all. People don't realise that even her biggest skills such as the triple double (which GB gymnasts like Jake Jarman and Donell Osbourne have had since they were 17), the Moors and the Silivas which are valued a J, I and H in WAG would only be a G, F and E in MAG. As well as the fact that she'd have to compete 6 passes. Also aside from the big individual passes (like the triple-backs) look at the kinds of combinations that men do--2.5 + punch double front-tucks etc. Biles is no match for a male gymnast on FX, I'm sorry. She's a incredible female gymnast, but she'd be way out of her league here.
Makayla Love Gymnastics It’s because of all of the execution deductions (height, form, chest position on landing, steps/hops, etc) the gymnasts get for doing the more difficult passes. Also, most of the difficulty points rack up from connection bonus (combining twisting elements), which look easier than the huge double flipping elements, but are actually incredibly difficult to link.
Lol how come Yulo is only number two where in fact he is the world champion for that year? Are u saying you are more credible than the worthy judges? Bitter!!!

im liking these series so much
I’ve never liked someone else’s half in half out double layout more than Simone’s. Carlos Yulo wow.

I definitely prefer MAG over WAG these days... the level and variety of skills is out of this world!!
Hoping for an olympic medal for PH on Floor
Very Very Very Nice video👏👏👏
Wow Team USA MAG is so good floor exercise routine.
👏👏👏👏 king's of floor 2019
Gonzalez had the best set of landings.

One of the few videos, where they actually do air-flaires!! (Never seen anyone that clean, except of demon or punisher..)
I didn't say an air-flaires?
@@benbailey159bb I don't understand your question.
@@thomass117 sorry I meant I didn't see any air-flaires

These guys are busy here difying gravity
Incredible they must be from a different galaxy lolx 😀
Do men get deductions for landing with feet apart?
Yep
sadly Yulo didnt make it to the 2020 Olympics Finals in Floor Exercise
This series is amazing!! Could I have the name of the last song please?
It’s Más y Más by Cartoon
these are old competition, the latest was carlos beats Artem, artem is the no.2 and carlos is the number 1 on the current standing.

Me hubiera gustado ser gimnasta pero no aguanto tanta vuelta 🙄🤭 🤮
Mis respetos para estos muchachos!

The video is from Podium Training, his EF video was copyrighted
GymnasticFan Ah, I see. Thanks.
I agree. I wish they would award double layout dismounts again.
Some of the videos don't match the description, Euros QF but shows World QF, Paris World Cup but shows Doha World Cup and Russian Nationals 🤔
Some were copyrighted and some we don't have any clip of the performance
@@gymnasticfan9148 Ohh I see 👌
Why is it that men are always doing simple double twists in their floor routines? Is it a new rule?

Is the double pike dismount mandatory for WAG then? 🙃

The last world championship Carlos Yulo of the Philippines beat the guy from Israel....so Yulo must be rank number one!

Who chooses this type of music for these clips?!
Not cool.
This damn music in the background is too loud and annoying
Romario Seaton Agreed!
so turn it down/off!
The music is so INSANELY bad in this video
No,,,, Carlos Yulo is number 1 that beats Artem Dolgobyat as number 2 for the year 2019
It’s called best scores of 2019 not best scores of Worlds 2019. Artem got a better score at euros I believe so that’s why he got No. 1
