Sounds like a texture loading issue what GPU do yo have ? I have only heard of this happening on cards with low amounts of VRAM. I would try turning down all graphics, especially the texture settings and trying to restart the game.
@@Azza-25 i have a NVIDIA geforce GTX 1050 but I think that the graphics card is not the problem because I had the same problem on squad and I managed to solve it making the game beautiful. my problem is that certain textures do not load and since the video parameters are incomplete on squad 44, I cannot find how to solve my problem
@@Protygamer2.0 Hey mate the GTX 1050 only has 4GB of VRAM so there probably isn't enough memory for the all the textures to load. Couple of hacks to get around it is to change texture streaming command line in gameusersettings.ini or to increase your virtual memory so that your GPU has more shared video memory available. Both are bad options and will provide poor performance but it should get your textures to load. Ryzen 9 5900X. The game still plays fine for me, I know a lot of people are having issues, I don't understand why though. I have seen people with 4090s and X3D Series CPUs saying they only get 50FPS on a full server which just seems totally illogical given the performance I get in game. I have always said this game is poorly optimised but it's not really any worse than most other games built on UE4 IMO. If I could get the same performance on HLL as I do in S44 I would be happy, that game is jittery mess right now. If I compare S44 to SQUAD though, my performance in that game is a fair bit better than S44, I think given the fact the devs have only had the game a couple months we need to give them some time work their magic, I'm sure in a couple months time people wont even be talking about performance in this game as it will be on point hopefully.
@@moravianlion3108 I wouldn't say it was fixed, this game still has a long way to go with optimisation, but the latest patch definitely did unfuck some things and help a lot, especially for those on older hardware. Hey man, i'm back to S44/PS after a couple of years. Running it with 5600X + 3060 Ti and i really can't afford Epic settings with DLR + DLSS. Native res + DLAA looks good though but my problem is the SSGI. I would like to set it to Medium because the dark black shadows looks crushed and for example the truck at the Arnhem Range has a completely black suspension with SSGI turned off (the night maps are basicaly unplayable). Native res is 2560x1440 for me., every other setting is Epic or turned ON (except motion blur) Looking at the truck normaly/in ADS a i get: 88/78 FPS Native res + DLAA + SSGI Off 68/61 FPS 2160p DSR + DLSS Quality + SSGI Off 66/61 FPS Native res + DLAA + SSGI Medium 58/53 FPS 2160p DSR + DLSS Quality + SSGI Medium I would like to get 90-80 FPS at Arnhem range with SSGI Medium, but i don't want to sacrifice the image quality too much. Is there other setting that has big impact on performance, but doesn't make the game look much worse? What would you suggest?
I think i found the setting - Ambient Occlusion. With that turned off, i get 73/70 FPS at Native+DLAA+SSGI Medium compared to 68/65 FPS at 2160p DSR+DLSS Balanced+SSGI Medium. Both of these settings are almost identical except DLSS does the game make a bit darker. I don't have a problem with bright cartoony graphics at all though.
