Even my dog understands property rights, even a toddler understands it. Obviously, if you have a logical mind and can envision an interdependent society with economic specialists, you can understand you understand how a home, or a farm, or a shopping mall can be owned, how capital can accumulate, and so on. All from a very potent basis, that a free human person should own the fruits of their labor. The point of this video is to argue these principles should be ensconced in the law of a just society.
Is it that communities are wealthier because they have property rights, or rather that wealthy communities have property rights to justify exclusion of their already accumulated wealth?
@@rajashashankgutta4334 All of the goals of the political left, such as environmental cleanliness, social safety nets, free education, rely on wealth accumulation. Poor societies cannot do these things well. There is one simple equation--in all the written history of man-- that is a sure fire way to allow the creation of wealth. Human justice and the protection of property rights.
First one. No ownership -> no exchange -> no prices -> no economic calculation -> production decisions have to be made in the dark -> basic needs go unmet. Simple as.
