How is it possible that individuals can have rights in things to the exclusion of others?

Let's pretend you have soup, but no spoon. You walk to the wilderness, cut down just the right type of wood, spend three days carving it yourself with a seashell, you get blisters and work long hours so you can't play games and watch TV with the others. Now, when soup is served again, you have a spoon. It is your spoon, no one else owns this spoon, in the very same fashion that no one owns your life, your energy, or experienced the blisters that are still healing on your hands. If someone who didn't make the spoon takes it, they are stealing--not just a spoon but your life energy itself.
The "exclusion" you speak of is self ownership, the basis of liberty. I assert that you, Piyumi, cannot own me. I should never own you. Nor should a government own either of us. It is how we are born, it is what God made us to be. Even my dog understands property rights, even a toddler understands it.
Obviously, if you have a logical mind and can envision an interdependent society with economic specialists, you can understand you understand how a home, or a farm, or a shopping mall can be owned, how capital can accumulate, and so on. All from a very potent basis, that a free human person should own the fruits of their labor.
The point of this video is to argue these principles should be ensconced in the law of a just society.

Because a human wrote a law one day proclaiming it to be so. Simple as that.

this is just a video of government violating people's property rights not that they do not own them, government is the problem

Is it that communities are wealthier because they have property rights, or rather that wealthy communities have property rights to justify exclusion of their already accumulated wealth?

@@rajashashankgutta4334 All of the goals of the political left, such as environmental cleanliness, social safety nets, free education, rely on wealth accumulation. Poor societies cannot do these things well. There is one simple equation--in all the written history of man-- that is a sure fire way to allow the creation of wealth. Human justice and the protection of property rights.

First one. No ownership -> no exchange -> no prices -> no economic calculation -> production decisions have to be made in the dark -> basic needs go unmet.
      Simple as.
