How I take notes while studying
    How to actively take notes
    Active recall without Anki
Other ways to learn actively besides anki
    Anki-alternatives
    Learning with Hand written notes
    Learning with your own notes
How I create my own flashcards
What do I add to my anki cards
How I write my own notes
⚠️ This method works for me and it may or may not work for everyone. Through this video, I just wanted to provide an idea of anther study technique for you to try in case you're looking for some guidance :)

I personally prefer anki. How do you like revising: Anki or hand written notes?
What video would you like to se next? :)

For me hand written notes are very useful when I study something new.
But for revision it's always anki for me.
Happy to see you back on youtube after a very long time.

Thank you 😊 very much.perfect video.
My main problem is that I make flash card of difficult thing to remember but I always get overwhelmed and fall asleep before to go over my previous lessons or I get bored to review words on anki , how can I review my notes without anki ?

You understand a topic and then do active recall or you learn subtopic of that topic and do active recall of that subtopic ??

Thanks for the video. Do you always use this 2-step approach or do you tend to make flashcards right away as well sometimes?

Hey, Joe! I started w the 2-step method; then I got the hang of making flashcards (i was able to decide what I should add and what I shouldn't)
Right now, I usually make flashcards right away. But if it's a hard topic or a protocol, I use the 2-step method because it helps me retain better

Do you memorize while you read or just skim through it?

I try my best to understand while reading things for the first time. I also try to come up w mnemonics/ ways to remember what I learn while going through it for the first time
